Rupert Marnie, a Hamburg-based DJ and producer, crafts a unique sound at the intersection of proto-techno, sci-fi soundscapes, acid-tinged exotica, UK breaks, and electro blends. Co-founder of The Press Group label and Remoto Records store, Marnie draws inspiration from diverse sources, infusing his productions with an eclectic mix of influences. His sets, often showcased at Hamburg's Golden Pudel and other notable venues, are a whirlwind of styles ranging from minimal to Detroit electro and breakbeat. For the Locked-In Amsterdam podcast series, Marnie delivers a vinyl-only mix recorded at Remoto Records, featuring his favourite electro, minimal, and acid-infused house tracks.
