Live recording from my recent Australia trip, where i played in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Byron Bay. This recording is from Succulent Funk and Angel Music Bar in Melbourne on 28.12.2024. Angel Music Bar is a smaller, dark room with a good sound system. Glad this got recorded as it was great vibes and a nice document for a great trip to the other side of the planet.

He also runs Pitchblack Playback—a global series of album and DJ mixtape listening sessions in the dark, of which Rick Rubin said “this sounds great” and Jamiroquai’s Jay Kay said was “a fabulous idea”.

I got back from this year’s epic episode of Mareh with my heart full and my mind inspired as usual. It was another magnificent gathering of pure love and community with so many friends all gathering together to celebrate life, love, music and dancing.

The first day I got back in the studio, and still with the Mareh life force pumping in my blood, I did this DJ mix. It includes only tracks I played in my sets on the magical Mareh boat party and at the Bar da Praia on 1st day of the New Year.

It is my love letter to this coisa boa which has transformed me as a person and my life.

It’s called Nossa because WE ARE MAREH. 



Can’t wait to be back on the Mareh Carnaval boat soon with you mess amores.
