So i finished the last part of the isotope cobalt series. Ambient, Classical, Drone, Noise and Scapes all in one big mash up.

I've selected around 180 tracks, which are divided over 6 parts, and this is the final part. I already matched up the 6 parts behind each other and the whole mix is more than 14 hours long, i will make it downloadable soon tru the funckarma.com website because that allows me to keep it in one piece.

The label is proud to have back Altone, with his 3rd collection of tracks named 'Shape of Distance'. 4 pieces that harken back to but challenge the traditional dub sounds while exploring subtle nuances within each production. 'Far from dark' is ominous, foreboding and upfront while its sister track 'Far from light', is more subdued with a gentle build. Both have chords metallic and heavy with reverberance that will hypnotize you. The sonic beauty continues with 'Winds of chaos' & 'Phantom'. Far From Dark

"Seaside Stories" is a collection of tracks by KRAUT SOUNDS and DEEP TREMOLO SUSTAIN which have been recorded in various (live) sessions during the last three years.
Featuring nine electronic jams ranging from pure improvisation to well structured tracks, oscillating between Dub Techno, Kraut Electronic, Ambient and strange dub sounds.
As the title implies, the tracks of "Seaside Stories" cover all facets of the ocean respectively electronic music - sometimes bright and beautiful, but sometimes deep, dark and scary. You can't escape the magic.

Roel Funcken officially popped up on the scene in 2010, with his solo debut, titled Vade, out on Ad Noiseam. But fans of electronic music, and IDM in general, have been tracking this Dutch musician for over a decade prior, when, along with his brother, Don, the duo has released some of the genre defining music on labels such as Djak-Up-Bitch, Schematic, Sublight Records, Neo Ouija, n5MD , Arcola (Warp) as the one and only Funckarma. In 2009 the Funcken brothers kicked off their very own, digital-only, Funcken Industry imprint, which hosted a few of their other projects and offshoots, such as Shadow Huntaz, Scone, Quench, Automotive, and the latest from Roel's solo works. Roel continues to influence the evolution of music through numerous releases (Sapper Morton on Analogical Force, Semtinal Convex on Methlab and Prester Hynn on his own imprint to name a few) and active engagement in the community, with music festival curation, mixes on mixlr and soundcloud and weekly playlists on Soundcloud and spotify. Roel's music is advanced in sound design, often incorporating unique experimentation in electronic sound, with cut-up, twisted, atmospheric sonic soundscapes, leaving the cranium always begging for more. His ambient textures maintain a cinematic quality throughout, while his percussive arrangements retain a constantly mutating framework, always reconstructing its rhythm and structure, contradicting complex configurations and minimal design. It's always a pleasure to taste the latest treat from this aural engineer, and find the latest gem in his never-ending arsenal of sound.
