Tonight a JazZBlues Piano Improv w Bass n Drums took form out of a little musical meme that's been rolling round my soul for years. It's loosely based on an abstraction of a musical idea that we've all heard in various popular Songs that are  part of what i'd call the vocabulary of 'The Blues'.  

In any case...  i  Hope you enJoy it as much as i did as it Flowed through these 10 Little Fingers. :)

This Soundtrack dedicated to the Impact of Climate Change.
The Soundtrack inspired by the documentary movie "Before the Flood(2016) Leonardo DiCaprio".

Climate change and it’s effects have been debated for over 200 years. In the last 50-60 years we have seen an alarming increase of warning signs pointing to a disaster coming. With all the scientific data and campaign for attention however, there is also a huge denial of facts from responsible parties and a great lack of knowledge or even care from the  general public. This superb production documents the devastating impact of this climate change on our daily lives and questions our ability to reverse the damage that we have already done. 
In this humble attempt I try to show a sped-up version of the disaster coming: As an underlying tune, I tried to emulate some of natural sounds in the track, especially those that reflect what we as humans do to nature: forests being chopped down and factories polluting the air, two of the reasons of CO2 built-up in our environment, and ice-breaking that indicates the break-up of our polar ice caps.

There is no love story that is unique, yet no love story is the same. My love happened to be deeply intertwined with music and with my husband. When he asked me to improvise different feelings on my piano, I didn't think it would end up as a story of our life: from the anticipation of the first date, from the surprise and joy of new relations to the moments of doubt and fear, disgust and anger, followed by guilt, sadness and contemplation. But above all it always comes down to trust and... 

LOVE! The twelfth, concluding track from my new album "Yet Another Love Story", telling the story of my love and music. I let my piano play and it sang me this song, jazzy and romantic, swinging and rocking, lush harmonies and memorable motifs.
