Meditation today should be a subject in schools from an early age. It is a magic formula to fight against chaos and for peace, but could you meditate on Venus? It is a planet that has inspired many artists creating true works of art and havens of peace and love. Venus is inhuman and a warning of how we can end, and yet it has always seemed wonderful to us!
This piece is a reflection on the meditation that we practice in a socially chaotic and stressed world, looking at the real and continuous present from a point so far away that it seems beautiful to us.

Optimism or pessimism, which would you choose?  Do you think that the choice is yours to make?  As we come to the end of November 2024 it seems like lots of concerns, which have been bubbling away under the surface, are coming out into the open.  Ultimately, this is good news.  Dialogue and honest discussions are required.

I am a musician and composer. My influences and tastes range across time and genres - Classical, Folk, Jazz, Rock... pretty much everything. As Duke Ellington said, "If it sounds good, it IS good"

 I compose and produce using open source tools. My operating system is Linux, I use Ardour as my DAW, Rosegarden for writing, and a variety of tools for sound design.
