Roger Martinez stands as a visionary force within the electronic music scene. Known for trance-inducing DJ sets and unique, chart-topping productions, he stands out as one of today’s most distinctive and talented artists. 

Growing up in the pulse of Amsterdam’s club scene during the late ’90s and early 2000s, Roger absorbed the sounds of artists like Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Secret Cinema, Remy, Dimitri and Marcello. This immersive introduction ignited a passion for deep grooves and intricate soundscapes, setting him on a lifelong journey of musical exploration.

Roger’s performances are more than sets; they’re experiences. Often playing sets stretching across four mesmerizing hours, his shamanic perspective, using music as an alchemical force, transforms dance floors around the world. Revered for his signature 4-deck mixing style, Roger’s sets are pan-spectral, transcending genre and style, creating a unified sonic journey. For him, a club night or festival is a sacred ceremony where people come together to connect deeply through music, dance, and human connection.

Iniciando sua trajetória na música eletrônica há quatro anos em Chapecó, Santa Catarina, DAANN rapidamente se destacou no cenário regional com sua dedicação, sensibilidade musical e um estilo progressivo e orgânico marcante. Logo passou a ser presença constante nas primeiras horas da noite, com sets envolventes que criam atmosferas imersivas e profundas conexões com o público.
Ao longo da sua carreira como DJ, DAANN construiu uma sólida presença em clubes e selos importantes da cena catarinense. Se apresentou diversas vezes no Amazon Club, Lake Club e no Mescla Social Club, pelo selo Soundspeak. Nesse último, protagonizou um dos momentos mais marcantes da sua trajetória: entregar a pista para o alemão D-Nox após 4 horas de set na comemoração de 2 anos da festa, experiência que ele considera tão especial quanto seu warm up para Guy J, uma de suas maiores inspirações.
Além desses momentos emblemáticos, também se apresentou por selos importantes em sua região, como Time To Dance e Musicarts,. Em 2022, pode se apresentar no litoral catarinense no Réveillon da Praia Mole, em Florianópolis, dividindo o palco com grandes nomes do Progressive House nacional.
Durante essa jornada, compartilhou o palco com artistas renomados como Guy J, D-Nox, ZAC, Ratier, Eli Iwasa, Bhaskar, Dilby, Roland Leesker, Silver Panda, Meca e Melanie Ribbie.
Como produtor musical, DAANN vem conquistando espaço no cenário internacional. Seu EP “Your Soul Is Mine” atingiu o Top 20 de lançamentos de Progressive House no Beatport, enquanto a faixa “Natira” alcançou o Top 30 tracks. Já seu remix para a faixa “Stolen Journey”, do produtor russo Victor Crain, entrou para o Top 100 de Progressive House.
Suas produções e sets já foram tocados em rádios de diversos países, como Reino Unido, Estados Unidos, Vietnã, Tailândia, além de integrarem a programação de rádios em grande parte da Europa, incluindo Alemanha, Bélgica e Itália, por meio do coletivo francês  Encyclopedia, o qual é residente e onde assina um podcast mensal.
Além disso, recebeu suporte de grandes nomes da cena global, como Hernan Cattaneo (em seu Resident #710), Federico Monachesi (pela Frisky Radio), Gai Barone, Kay-D e ZAC, em uma apresentação no Warung Beach Club com os lendários Sasha e John Digweed.

Starting his journey in electronic music four years ago in Chapecó, Santa Catarina, DAANN quickly stood out in the regional scene with his dedication, musical sensitivity, and a distinctive progressive and organic sound. He soon became a regular presence during the early hours of the night, delivering engaging sets that create immersive atmospheres and deep connections with the audience.

Throughout his career as a DJ, DAANN has built a solid presence in key clubs and labels across the Santa Catarina scene. He has performed multiple times at Amazon Club, Lake Club, and Mescla Social Club, under the Soundspeak label. At Mescla, he experienced one of the most memorable moments of his career: handing over the decks to German DJ D-Nox after a 4-hour set celebrating the label’s 2-year anniversary — a night he considers just as special as his warm-up for Guy J, one of his greatest inspirations.

In addition to these iconic moments, he has also performed for prominent labels in his region, such as Time To Dance and Musicarts. In 2022, he took the stage on the coast of Santa Catarina for the New Year’s Eve party at Praia Mole, in Florianópolis, sharing the lineup with major national Progressive House artists.

Along his journey, DAANN has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Guy J, D-Nox, ZAC, Ratier, Eli Iwasa, Bhaskar, Dilby, Roland Leesker, Silver Panda, Meca, and Melanie Ribbie.

As a music producer, DAANN has been gaining ground on the international scene. His EP “Your Soul Is Mine” reached the Top 20 Progressive House releases on Beatport, while the track “Natira” reached the Top 30 tracks. I got hooked on Kick's & Hi-Hat's at the age of 13 during the early days of New Beat . At the age of 15 I started mixin house & Techno using casettes and vinyl.   

It wasn't untill I heard Sasha & John Digweed play that I made a switch to progressive,  ...ever since then I've been playing  a progressive style that has a punch combined with still melodic moments.
