Freestyler turned songwriter from Brevard County, FLA. Music is my soul. Been creating forever but finally putting some shit out. The best is yet to come 💯 FWM

Beginning my musical life as a drummer in high school in the 90's,
playing in the suburbs and then the inner city stages of Sydney.
Met many cool industry people and learned the production side 
of music during many recording sessions in various studios.
Moved to the South Coast city of Wollongong in 2009,
and built my own studio, The Sound Therapy Lab in 2015.
Started playing bass and guitars while testing production skills.
Released a few tracks under the name LOGICAL INSTINCT.
Set out travelling Australia in 2020 when covid hit the planet, 
making me stay put to endure a cold Tasmanian winter. 
To keep myself sane, I began recording a full length album.
As moving around became available again, the album had parts recorded in 
various locations, from the quiet country town of Sheffield, Tasmania to the dusty outback of Broken Hill, NSW, to finally being completed at the beginning of Autumn 2021 in Rockhampton, Queensland. No Fixed Address was released under my own (official) name, J.A.Jones.
From Rocky, travelled further North to the sleepy seaside village 
Mission Beach, where the scenery and laid back feel was to enticing not to stay on a permanent basis. Sold up the Wollongong house and moved all the 
earthly possessions up to a neighboring village, Carmoo.
Built a brand new studio, The Sound Therapy Lab no.2.
Recorded and released a brand new studio album, Painting In Sound.
It is a combination of thoughts, memories, passion, and new instruments learned, including keyboard/piano and saxophone, and ranging musically from ambient soundtrack music, jazz, dance, punk, alternative progressive rock and thrash metal. And the production is of the highest level.

My love for music began in childhood, recording playlists on cassette using my grandfather’s stereo. As a teen, I made mixtapes for road trips when local radio didn’t cut it. Friends loved them, and soon others in town wanted copies.
