Jill Huber is a Country music singer/songwriter out of Ann Arbor Michigan. She began singing at a very young age, but realized her passion for singing in her early 20's and started co-writing with a friend out of Detroit that had an Independent Record Label named Third Rail Records. She started her career recording R&B music. 

When she started writing again in 2012, She realized she was writing Country. So she decided she would write Country songs with soul! Deciding to write her own songs because she has a passion for making a difference in people's lives, wanting them to be able to relate with her songs, whether it be about love, hope or having fun! She have recorded her demo called "Will You Walk Me Home" and will be traveling to Nashville to record 4 more songs to record her first EP. 

She has been singing in lower Michigan, doing Acoustic sets trying to get her name out and fan base built. Opening for Aaron Carter in Toledo in April 2013!

Recently she has teamed up with Josh Ashmore out of Toledo, to create the band named "River Raisin"  both are songwriters and will be touring around lower Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois.

Songs about folks, sunsets, oceans, mountains, jungles and dive bars I woke up in. Stories of feeling locked out in the rain, getting stuck in a square peg, making the mistake of dancing with the fairies and feeling like Rip Van Winkle. They are stories from an outsiders perspective, the belief in heroes, mythologies and an open highway. Indignation at injustice and the belief in a better tomorrow. Or maybe just disillusionment. 

If you’ve ever asked yourself what happened to this world and what happened to dreams maybe one of these songs is for you. If you still believe in the power of music to make you a better version of yourself then maybe one of these songs is for you. Or maybe you just wanna have a laugh and listen to some toe tappin music that makes you feel like your not the only one with a quirky perspective on the world. Maybe you just want to feel like a hero with headphones for a few minutes. Or maybe your just looking for a slob to hang out with. 

I know it sounds like a tall order but I’ll try my best.
