The EP features four crisp, rhythm-driven and synth-soaked tracks. David Dam contributes on two vocal driven songs which ooze crossover appeal and are effortless on either the dancefloor or the radio. The remaining two leftfield tracks, exhibit a more forward thinking electronic aesthetic.

For the fourth Outplay vinyl release we welcome Laurence Guy to the family and have Brame & Hamo on remix duties. It’s paired with two originals by Outplay's own Junktion and Daniël Leseman.
Laurence delivers a wonderful synth driven opener with “Strings Attached”. While Junktion brings his familiar grooves with the jazzy “Breakfast at Midnight”, Brame & Hamo flip it into a dubby stomper to heat up the floors. Daniël Leseman gets to round up the EP with his warm and melodic “On My Mind”.

chuckee. - Midnight Marauding

2015 has @Ambassadeurs extremely busy with a slew of EPs and his debut album – “Patterns” released on Lost Tribe Records.

Now back in the studio recording his second album, Mark is dropping this EP in the interim to keep the fans sweet. He wrote these tracks during an escape in the autumn from the city to the countryside. The change of scenery from concrete to wilderness is reflected in the more organic sounds on this 4 tracker, which was written with the bare minimum of equipment to hand, even sampling some old cassettes that were left behind in the cottage where he was staying.

So while a simpler and more stripped back approach was adopted on this EP, it’s still distinctively his sound neatly executed to see a great year out.

This record is a pure Italian duo craftsmanship affair and brought to you by Mushrooms Project & Almunia. Almunia is the Italian Psychedelic Rock/Disco/balearic project of Gianluca Salvadori & Leonardo Ceccanti. They made some beautiful releases on Claremont 56, Above Machine or Is It Balearic?. Mushrooms Project is the duo composed by Marco Lentano & Giorgio Giri, known for numerous eps on Leng, Under The Shade, Horn Wax, Hell Yeah or Is It Balearic? and its sublabel Uber.
Expect dark balearic summer vibes all over this one. 
Fellow countrymen Daniele Baldelli & Dionigi gave "Arena Raindrops" ,here premiered, a cosmic makeover. Artwork coverage comes from the north of The Netherlands where Klaas Jonkman, also known as De Fantoom, was inspired by the Rupicola Peruvianus creature to paint the cover of this record !

For their second release,label "Let’s Go Swimming" signed Doppelate. Hailing from south London, he brings us a stripped back, four track house record which strikes a beautiful balance between gentle melancholia and blissed-out dance ﬂoor moments !  "Soaked In Honey" here  opens the EP with a sampled conversation between two friends (quoted above). Subterranean keys and a prominent bassline drive this poignant, and yet carefree, sunset club track. Release date : 9th September !

High Summer. Sun is shining and the Bordello is open to newcomers, the latest being Slovenia’s Ichisan. After EPs on Internasjonal and Catune amongst others, he delivers via Bordello A Parigi a 12” that bulldozes barriers, Metamundas seamlessly slips between electro disco, braindance acid and gilded funk. Writhing 303 jerks are tempered by warm-hearted key changes for the title track, patterns ducking into playful frolics and lush deeps. And this desire to toy with convention is what characterises the EP. Bitter chords are sugared, machine grooves with nods to the dancefloors of the 70s, spaceflights with undertones of Chicago ; Ichisan brings all together in a 12” that is as unique as it is addictive, following Prins Thomas and Todd Terje's Path.

After a previous EP by STL, here’s the third release of London-based label Mutual Friend Recordings. A split record featuring Ethyl & Flori  (who released numerous records on labels such as Secretsundaze or Tsuba) and label head duo Our Mutual Friend for a 4 tracker entitled Lacewing/Burnside on which they remix each other. an ep oscillating between house and techno. Here’s “Burnside” track which lays down chattering bass hits shuffling alongside soothing melodic chimes.

If you follow LYO a bit enough, you already know he signed the inaugural release of our label with the delightful four tracker ep "Cold Fresh Air" and for that very reason he will always occupy a certain spot in our hearts ! Additionally to his undeniable talent, he certainly have great friends in his hometown Portland as he debuts "Bed of Roses" first vinyl release with “WVZ”. Wav Fuzz continues his progression as a textural architect working in the dreamy underbelly of house and techno with his third release(he also delivered a superb tape for Occult Research). FHUO Records or For Heaven Use Only (@forheavenuseonly-records) is a new record label founded by @Folamour, who is also a co-founder of the widely successful @Moonrise-Hill-Material and a very talented producer in his own right. The forthcoming first release is a various artist EP and is titled "L'Homme ne descend pas du singe mais du bruit” translated to Man didn’t descend from monkeys but from noise. The tagline on the Soundcloud page reads “no informations needed”, which we assume means let the music do the talking.

One of the four tracks on the EP is by fellow MHM co-founder Victor Dijoud aka @kaffecreme, who released Moonrise Hill Material’s highly sought after second record. “Baciami Subito” is proof again that the Lyon based producer and multi-instrumentalist is able to elegantly merge samples with his own sound to create something unique.

The release will be out in November, be sure to add this one to your collection as soon as its available!

The White Tapes EP of new @secretreels features three original tracks by Kian T (@kiantmusic) and a B side remix by Dutch wizard Daniel Leseman (@danielleseman), which we have the pleasure of premiering here today. 

Daniel takes the original, raw vibes of “Flughafen” and flips it on its feet into a clean-cut, sanguine affair. His signature warm chords and brassy synths are front and center, turning the spacey, atmospheric elements and twinkly keys taken from the original into complementary background pieces. A not too busy, club-oriented groove with hand drums, muted cowbells, crisp hats and jazzy rides gives the melodic elements room to breathe and helps solidify the track as one you’re sure to dance to in the near future.

@tlimshug is behind the wheel for BODO004 (@bobby-donny) and we have an exclusive preview of the A2 track, “Wig Split”. True to form, Tlim Shug sticks to the lo-fi sound that has made him one of the well known names in the now booming trend. A DJ Smokey sampled and looped hip-hop vocal with a simple yet contagious and haunting keyboard melody form the backbone of the track. Low-passed hats and claps paired with crushed toms and snares form the no-frills four on the floor beat while a beefy bassline drives the song. Respected dj’s, worldwide music media & retailers have all been deeply impressed by the quality & vision transported by the label founded in spring 2009 by Dairmount & Anja Knupper in Hamburg. The label’s ethic is aiming to get back to timeless “emotional content” club music with a futuristic flair, while breaking the pattern of “functionality” that club music too often slips into these days.
