While the purpose and origin of the signal is unclear, it paints a picture of the horrors of the end of a civilization.

For Adam 2, electronic music has always provided an opportunity for self-discovery, creative exploration, and personal liberation. Since 2016, the Vancouver-based producer and DJ has worn multiple hats in the city’s growing scene, fulfilling the roles of promoter, music curator, and co-founder of Techno label PPRZ.  2020 saw the release of featured mixes on Honcho, Techno Hour of Power, and the creation of Afrofuturism is Now – a mix series amplifying the music of Black artists. In 2022/23 Adam 2 maintained their stride sharing the bill with Carlos Souffront, Shanti Celeste, and Objekt, had high profile performances at Basscoast and Domesicle in Montreal and recently released their debut EP ‘Jungle Dreams’ on Toronto based label Model Future.  As Adam 2’s career gains momentum, they continue to build their reputation by transfixing audiences with evocative, experimental techno that intersects dynamic physicality and playful cerebralism.

Nazira is an Almaty-based DJ and vinyl collector, as well as a promoter within the underground club scene in Kazakhstan. She was involved in a number of projects until starting her own club night ZVUK, which she now runs with support from her friends. The night is committed to growing the local scene through the lenses of electro, techno, acid and wave. She also runs her own radio show on Radio Comeme called "Theory of Nothing" where she shares her musical vision and wherever it takes her. Nazira was first noticed in Unsound Festival events in Bishkek and Dushanbe, as well as the main event in Krakow. Nazira and ZVUK also helped to co-organise Unsound Festival's Dislocation event in Almaty. She is one of a few Kazakh DJs who plays internationally, with gigs in various places around Europe under her belt. One of those gigs turned out to be very important - it was a party in ://about blank in Berlin for the Room 4 Resistance crew. There was an instant connection and Nazira is now a resident at Room 4 Resistance - a collective which aims to explore the political dimensions of the dance floor, give spotlight to underrepresented artists and bridge different communities.

Her interest in music lies on the intersection of industrial, techno, acid and leftfield. Inspiration for her sets comes from the isolation of her motherland and music in all its variety.
