On their debut album, YAME comes up with an excellent title track, "California", a stunning melodic track so harmonic and beautiful that their voices stick in your mind like the sunrise on a summer's day. The track uses a deep atmospheric base, underpinned by long bass and soft synth chords where California's signature vocals and lyrics unified by a deep bass drum and a melancholic touch gradually work their way to the top. The composition climaxes by adding pure interstellar-style supersonic elements that come together to create a structured sphere of sonic satisfaction.
