Redemption - A short theme

As soon as we played this song in the jam room, we knew we had landed on something extremely powerful, and very different from our usual sound at that. IndoSoul is a journey of discover for us and it was amazing to see how the raga Shanmugapriya transformed magically with powerful guitar riff. Along with the tribal drums and bass grooves, the song gets a distinctive metal feeling!

Marubari, composed by Dharmapuri Subbaraya Iyer, is a type of South Indian classical composition called Javali. Javalis are love poems written in simple and colloquial language. The IndoSoul version of Marubari features a brisk version of this classic with an RnB groove. The latter part of the song features female vocals, giving voice to passion, pursuit and desire.

K.R.Roopa aka Roopa Revathi bagged the Amrita Superstar Global Crown, a musical talent hunt show hosted by Amrita TV. She was ruling the show with her musical brilliance and has already got a place in the hearts of world wide music lovers. Roopa has also proved her talent in playing the Violin in many stage performances. She is learning carnatic music under P Unnikrishnan and violin under Embar kannan.
