Dinmachine is composer Michael J. Schumacher's (mostly) instrumental pop music project, through which he explores his interest in a variety of beat-driven genres in styles ranging from rock to funk to electronic, in the process turning them into something.

I am a musician (sitar, guitar, dilruba, bass guitar, and the Dautar, an instrument I collaborated in designing with Andy Dowty and Jeff Slatnick of Limulus Musical Instruments), composer, improviser, writer, poet, producer, and whatever else I can get away with.

What truly interests me is creating for the listener a unique and transformational experience. It is vitally important to me that I serve my audience in this way. Styles and genres rarely interest me; I am primarily interested in the psychoactive properties of music. Music as a catalyst for apotheosis. And now you are part of my audience. It's an honor to have you here.
