NEGRU
Romanian Negru is one of the leading lights emanating from the Eastern Europe scene, having been one of the best known underground DJs in the area since 2006. This includes a residency at the seminal Studio Martin club in Bucharest and of course other appearances at the grand clubs of Romania like Kristal and La Mania, during which time he shared the decks with almost every heavyweight on the scene, from The Chemical Brothers to Danny Tenaglia. Since then, international gigs, including at DC10 in Ibiza for Circoloco have followed in abundance.

In a short space of time he has already chalked up many notable releases, such as Morning Express with Livio & Roby and Cabin Fever on Rekids, which was a top seller on the leading vinyl outlet decks.de out of Germany. Further releases have since followed on Barraca Music and Soweso, with his tracks appearing on a host of compilations, most notably several Cecille Records releases. With this finely-tuned ear, in part thanks to his rich musical up-bringing, Negru finds himself perfectly positioned to continue his rise.

"KaterHolzig, Sisyphos, Chalet, Tresor, Rummels Bucht - allein die Liste der Berliner Clubs in denen Andreas Rauscher stets die Menge bewegen und überzeugen kann, liest sich wie ein Who is who auf dem nationalen Parkett. Mittlerweile ist der deep/Tech Spezialist, mit seinen druckvollen Sets, Tracks die noch niemand vorher hörte und einer lässigen Entspanntheit hinter den Decks, bei soviel Erfolg in hauptstädtischen Gefilden, Wahl-Berliner.

Eingebettet zwischen dunklen, melancholischen Bässen bleibt sein Sound tanzbar, fühlbar ist die kompromisslose Qualität nach der Andreas Rauscher immer greift. An den Decks und in der Ernsthaftigkeit des Business lässt er keinen Zweifel, wenn sein Sound unüberhörbar durch die heiligen Hallen wummst. Jeden Tag bis in die Nacht an diesem zu arbeiten, gehört für ihn selbstverständlich dazu. Und heute? In München, Augsburg, Frankfurt aM spielend locker unterwegs, als ehemaliger Club-Besitzer sowieso, überzeugt Andreas Rauscher längst international; sei es London, Griechenland, Thailand, Tschechien oder unzähligen Open Airs und Festival-Locations.

Beim Auflegen erwartet er ähnliches von seinen Hörern, wie von sich selbst. Sich dem Sog seiner nach Aufmerksamkeit stampfenden Tracks hingeben und dabei die Augen schließen  um gemeinsam eine Sprache sprechen zu können. Sehnsüchtig warten wir nun auf die nächste Möglichkeit."
