Mit Wurzeln im klassischen Klavierspiel und fundierter Ausbildung als Audio Engineer erschafft er cineastische elektronische Musik, die weit über die Tanzfläche hinaus wirkt. Sein Sound verbindet atmosphärische Flächen, emotionale Tiefe und fein konstruierte Rhythmen – stets mit einem klaren Gefühl im Mittelpunkt. Nach Jahren hinter den Kulissen der internationalen Event- und Showtechnikbranche fand er 2010 zurück zur Musik – mit neuer Reife, klarem Fokus und dem Wunsch, Klangwelten zu gestalten, die berühren. Seither entwickelt er einen einzigartigen Stil, der Introspektion und Energie miteinander verbindet. Inspiration findet sich in Stille, Transformation und der Fragilität von Licht. Sein kommendes Debütalbum Fragments of Light, das bei Sony Music erscheint, ist eine Reise durch emotionale Fragmente – von Dunkelheit hin zu Klarheit. REsy (pronounced ree-see) is a DJ, producer, & founder of Yes&Yay, an international event production collective, most known for the infamous, underground House Music NYC speakeasy parties called Church Service aka The Den aka Thursday nights at Macao which ran for 7 yrs before ending in 2020. 

Favoring soulful/vocal elements and deep, ethnic beats in her mix of tech house, tribal, deep house, techno, gqom, and indie electro, REsy has developed a signature sound that has been described as uplifting, soulful, organic, and effortlessly sexy. Her track mixing style consists of a teasing, ping-pong like method layered with heavy bass lines.

From the internationally known Art Basel in Miami Beach, to Movement afterparties in Detroit, MI to desert festivals in South Africa, REsy also showcases her signature sound to a wide variety of crowds and settings.

I am a sham was the first reason why I’ve decided to hide myself behind a band, a collective when this project was launched. There was my inability to assume a direction, a line, as well as a kind of modesty not to point that all of this work was/is personal. There were also all these lives I lived, these experiences I went through, we all go through. All of this pointed the idea to stay behind a « we ».

Through The Crack was an introduction, this little rift we all have and through we could let others discover who we are. Songs of Light & Darkness is its sequel. Though we wrote and composed its track while we were working on our first EP, we chose to produce the sounds of it after the release of our 1st music video. In order to catch the state of mind we were in, to be in coherence with whom we were during this period. We are pretty sure this is the reason why Songs of Light & Darkness is more accessible than its predecessor. And it fits perfectly with the story we want to tell. 
As you could read, the « We » is still here and it will remain. We Are The Line could not exist if there was only me. Even if I totally assume the reasons and the direction of it all, my inner wars, doubts, fears, choices, influences, I keep thinking that we all have this kind of questions, the We remains.
