As part of our journey as a community, we're very fortunate to have crossed paths with an incredible amount of wonderful kindred souls.
One of those encounters started a beautiful and meaningful friendship with the @polychrome-audio family and their galaxy.
Throughout them we had the chance to connect with Felipe, aka @buen-clima , who will join us from Chile for our ADE rendez-vous when leaves turn gold and trees undress. 
And even though we discovered Felipe with his stunning release on Peach discs, combining interlocking rhythms with percussive synthesis, he today gifts us with a profound ambient live set, which we saw as a delightful addition to our Sunday Sedatives series.
It is now time to close your curtains, light some palo santo and let yourself drift to the outer rim. 🌌

Born and raised in Banjaluka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, his diploma says Master’s Degree in industrial design, however, lately you will find him more in the roles of a graphic designer, visual artist, DJ. Spending his formative years in Belgrade and Milan, now living in Amsterdam, his interest in music grew exponentially, being shaped by a mixed bag of experiences gathered throughout space and time. For the last 3 years, Vanja has also been a part of the Garage Noord family. As for the music, Vanja’s friend once described it by saying ‘it is a trip deep inside the belly of the beast.’

“hoja de ruta” is an exercise to make visible the musical languages of the serial, deep and infinite digging practice. The first episode starts in 1994 in Japan, it was almost impossible to leave the island.

This show as a binnacle allows to register and diagram the process of research over time. Identifying patterns, trends and interconnection between actors as well as the possibility of retrospective analysis. Understanding these relationships help to solidify and restructure our knowledge, interests and obsessions, often perceived as isolated, floating or capricious, and internalize them as part of the same aesthetic search, guiding the next steps to future affinities.

The starting point is a random input, that awakes the curiosity and necessity to know more. A song, album or artist, that derivates into infinite multiple tabs, and each one enables a path; either linear, parallel or transversal to the last previous point. The end of the journey will trace a new sound universe, a personal and unrepeatable map that simulates the possibility of a closed circuit. The end doesn't exist, but this exercise facilitates the navigation...

Q. How long have you been a part of the NYC music scene?
A. Around six years. It all started when I met Justin Strauss at my first job at Red Bull Studios. I became friends with him and he would add me to the guest list for some of his parties in Brooklyn. After that, I started meeting more cute people in the Brooklyn music scene and took the chance of playing music myself + doing a lot of Bossa happy hours. 

Q. Tell us a little bit about this mix.
A. This is a hypnotic cyber spa with a misty twist.
