As every year this Various Artists will mark our honest tribute to the infamous Sonar and Off-Sonar week, which takes place at the beauty and sunny Barcelona. Obviously this year for all-known reasons we are going to celebrate such an intense week surrounded by our closest friends and family at our homes. With 6 tracks and making a firm bet in quality over quantity Omar Deaz opens things with ‘Dubbler’. The Miami based artist after his Bump Cut debut, drops a great cut combining a bouncy bass line with a hip-hop styled vocal. Next up, we welcome back Dmitri Saidi and his ‘People Coming’ signed side to side with Jesus Nava. This one is an actual tech-house composition with crispy hats and great riser effects on the breakdowns. As third track, Sanchez & Narvaez drops ‘Just a Bit’, a classy cut that converges in the point where tech and house meet. The deep chords and the slightly driven 909 kick are without any doubt the main characters of the composition. Timid Boy and ‘Hot Hot Hot’ offers us a musical journey combining arpeggiated synths with raw beats. As fifth one, Knober and Jaime Soeiro’s ‘Wishes’ offers a peak-time weapon for tech-house heads. Last but not least, debuting on Roush, the spaniard Aitor Astiz closes the EP with ‘Like This’.

This work contains 4 original Electronic Music productions mixed with native and roots musical rhythms and elements from the artist’s country of origin, the Dominican Republic.

With an Electronic Music foundation of Micro House, Tech House and Techno, Gabo Lora integrates Dominican and Caribbean elements such as congas and Merengue “A lo Maco” tambora rhythms, güira, Salsa rhythms, Native Roots Chants and Percussions. The third track, “Espíritu Santo” is a remix of the Dominican Roots group Congos del Espíritu Santo de Villa Mella – located in the north of the Dominican capital of Santo Domingo – (2001 UNESCO Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity) as recorded by Roldán Mármol in 1997 with Fundación Cultural Bayahonda.

Nekhamma is a Pali term often translated as renunciation or letting go. But it doesn’t mean denial or repression — it refers to the voluntary and joyful turning away from sensual cravings and worldly attachments in pursuit of inner freedom and peace.

In Buddhist practice, nekhamma is one of the ten pāramīs (perfections) — qualities to be developed on the path to liberation. It’s not about rejecting life, but about no longer being enslaved by craving.

True renunciation isn’t sadness — it’s clarity.
It’s the quiet happiness of needing less, and being free.
