Hold onto your hats, folks! New Jersey's very own Danner (US) is back with a tech house beast that'll have speakers quaking and dancefloors shaking—hello, 'Babalica'! The man is on a roll, and his latest offering lands on none other than Sacha Robotti's Sloth Acid, an LA label that's as much about the groove as it is about the threads.

Danner (US) has been flipping the script in the scene, leaving a trail of deep grooves and melodic mayhem on labels like Desert Hearts and Rawthentic. The guy's got a knack for drilling down into the soul of tech house, and 'Babalica' puts that talent front and center. 

This track is pure dancefloor artillery. Imagine a bassline so chunky it feels like it's got its own zip code. The drums have a tribal flair that's all about those warehouse vibes. Warped synths bounce around like they're in a pinball machine, and that fragmented vocal loop? Primeval energy that’ll make you feel like you’re in a Brooklyn basement.

'Babalica' hits the scene on October 10, 2025. If you're not pre-ordering it by the time you finish reading this, what are you even doing? Danner (US) has already hit the top of the Beatport charts with releases on Jack City, and he's a regular feature in sets from Solardo, Detlef, and Sosa. Our next release on Roushlabel comes from the increasingly popular Bassel Darwish. The Distance Music frontman has amassed an impressive amount of high-quality labels on reputable labels over the last few years and his own label is really picking up momentum too. His 'Bring Down' EP consists of two big originals and a remix from Madrid-born producer FreedomB. The title track opens the release with a sophisticated groove. Built around a weighty sub bassline and an undulating beat with a subtle level of vocal presence, it finds itself in amply sufficient vibe building territory and would suit daytime terrace atmospheres perfectly due to it's stripped back and 'easy to move to' approach. Next up, 'Code' takes things up a few gears in the energy department. An uptempo stripped back dancefloor pleaser, carrying with it a rumbling low-end, hooky vocal and finespun melodic presence. Another quintessentially groovy number with more underground intensity, perfectly capable of cranking up the heat in the peak hours of any party. Last but not least, FreedomB's remix of 'Code'. Keeping the focus on the track's ambience, the substituted bassline and clever use of hypnotic effects in the transitional phases give it a completely new identity. Not too dissimilar to the original, but, at the same time presenting standout differences which make for an enjoyable new experience of something that was already highly engaging... clever work from an intelligent creator! Following a string of heavy hitting releases from Mark Reeve, Luuk Van Dijk, Sidney Charles, and Collective States, Do Not Sleep keep the pressure on with another must have release from the rapidly rising UK duo, Hart & Neenan.

Since their debut release in 2018 on Max Chapman's Resonance, the duo have featured on highly regarded underground labels Whoyostro, Distance Music, and Twisted Fusion building their reputation as future stars of the underground.

Now in 2020 Hart & Neenan have stepped it up, with heavily supported releases on Sanity, Under No Illusion and META with the latter reaching Nº2 on Beatport and amassing 200k + plays on Spotify.

For their debut release on Do Not Sleep, the duo deliver a four track EP with two originals and two remixes, from label favourite Sidney Charles, and Inmotion Music's LaRosa.

The title track 'Patience' features the excellent vocals of Elliot Chapman with Hart & Neenan creatively working the vocal hook over the top of the rolling bass, adding shuffling hats, and organic chord stabs to create a powerful grooving and infectious track. 

On the remix of 'Patience' is Berlin's Sidney Charles. Increasing the skip on the beats, he carefully adds intricate chord patterns in to a hypnotic deep groove weaving the vocal in tastefully.

The second original track is 'Sect', with warm and delicate filtering analogue chords, tripped out incidentals, and ever so slightly jackin' beats this is a high class B side. 

The remix of 'Sect' comes from NYC's LaRosa, stepping up the intensity with an increased bpm, more shuffle in the hats, and giving his version a more prevalent bass-line groove providing the perfect alternative to an already excellent B side.

Amnesia long-time resident CAAL comes back to Roush with his studio mate Baum. The spaniard combo has been a regular name on tech-house top labels such as elrow, Sola or Repopulate Mars, where they have signed a great bunch of bangers. Some of this tracks have been remixed by reputed producers as Nathan Barato, Eskuche or Eli Brown giving the duo an international exposure. Regarding to his debut EP on Roush, title cut ‘Back & Forth’ opens with an actual and arpeggiated bassline which infuses the track a fast vibe. A female woman repeating an hypnotic phrase is used in order to captivate listener. The voice has a clever sci-fi treatment that gives a robotic shape. ‘Makin’ Moves’ is another fantastic cut with a firm bet on the always popular and effective 303-acid-sound that closes the EP in a raver-style.

Federico Ambrosi continues to cement his role as one of today’s most exciting prospects with a stripped-back release on Hottrax entitled ‘Conscious’. 

Although he’s been releasing music for the best part of a decade the last couple of years have been incredible for the Italian producer having made appearances on Repopulate Mars, Paul’s Boutique, NONSTOP, Stereo Productions, Relief and Sola. Picking up support from the upper echelons of house music, such as Lee Foss, Solardo, Green Velvet, Detlef, and Jamie Jones, the latter now invites him to debut on his Hottrax imprint. 

‘Conscious’ is a rhythmic cut with crunchy drums, squelchy atmospherics and a quivering synth designed to compel crowds into a trance during the afterhours. ‘Analize’ is more robust in comparison: adding more thump to the kicks as a metallic snare, murky spoken word sample and viscous bassline powers everything forward.
