A Berlin and Ibiza based artist and DJ.

His Background: Dr_Ice was forced into early-retirement in March, 2018 when his mixer, laptop, and favorite pair of jeans were stolen from a U-Haul in Santa Fe, New Mexico (which is otherwise a really nice town). He hadn't been actively mixing music for about 2 years (and was in the process of moving back home to Texas after living in California) when this event took place, so the Dr_ took it as a sign that the proper time had come to exit the Ice Age and pursue other musical interests, namely the acoustic guitar. 

On Soundcloud: While Dr_Ice definitely continues to seek out new music on Soundcloud, since he's no longer posting new material, he can't justify paying Soundcloud's fee into perpetuity simply to host his old mixes, especially when there's a solid, free alternative for folks like him (Mixcloud). That being said, he will be forever grateful to Soundcloud for opening a much wider world of electronic music than he would have known otherwise. Music found on this site has been down right motivational, inspirational, even transformational. Many of the Dr_'s recent travels, and lots of his best friendships and memories, trace moments right back to this site. Thank you for that, Soundcloud.
