We’re really thrilled to bring you a corker of a mix from DJ, producer and Affin label owner, Joachim Spieth.

Joachim’s long-lived journey with music spanning over the last two decades has seen him produce multiple albums, LP/EPs and countless remixes and contributions, while gigging in over 30 countries and growing Affin into one of the leading independent labels for deep hypnotic techno and ambient.

For us, a major part of the Spieth magic when it comes to DJ’ing is his mixing style, where he frequently relishes in longer transitions creating a seamless, hypnotic journey fully absorbing you in its magnetic ebb and flow.

In the studio, Spieth has become a master of beautiful, ethereal soundscapes and the more cerebral realms of techno; his productions in both techno and ambient are pretty sublime and more than well deserving of a place in your collection.

Bio:
Founding member of the SRIE Records label where he contributes his musical pieces and mastering knowledge since 2013 in Buenos Aires, Joel Pulso challenges the stablished structures in the musical framework since his style became more definitive, experimental, analogous and hypnotic, developing a unique imprint, based on minimalism and the collage method through home-made recordings.

His project and musical focus exposes the objective of immersing the listener on his semantic field, going from psychical and cerebral music, to the most sci-fi & loopy danceable style through his productions and sessions.

Pulso is part of the great Argentine scene providing musical legacies in renowned labels such as Subsist, Semantica, Float, Antiterra, Mindtrip, KEY Vinyl and in its own signature SRIE, where in each release along with Translate, deliver quality music and concept, giving rise to the best artists oscillating within their sound´s framework.

Since the end of 2022 a new label was born which is dedicated to the manufacture of cassettes and CDs called "Histéresis" where, together with his partner Uma Soundsystem, Pulso performs the position of mastering (Digital and Cassette) and graphic material for each edition, which are produced at home and manually and delivered to the globe; these editions can be found in his official bandcamp (/Pulsojoel) and in the official Histéresis account too.

In parallel to his music and minimalist style of work, Joel Pulso develops cover arts under the name of Fractales DIY, formerly publisher of fanzines and handmade books, currently factory that spits out the crudest and surreal analog collages which are part of the catalog that defines his vision as an artist.

Eexxppoann is a new techno producer/dj based in Seoul. 'Eexxppoann' is the abbreviation for 'Exponential Expansion', which is the initial physical process of the big bang. As a director of the experimental techno party Constant Value, he aims to create techno sounds with structural and spatial experiments. This is also due to his other profession: apart from being a musician he works as an architect. His music and architecture simultaneously evolve structurally and aesthetically coinciding.

He recently released EP [Phenomenal Reality] from Absolute Records in Italy. It includes three experimental techno tracks including [Strato], [XSP MMXV I] and [Borderline XXI II].

Born in Italy, Claudio PRC is a dj/producer exploring techno and it’s experimental sides. He has signed several records with Prologue where his debut album "Inner State" was presented in 2012. Claudio is also a co-founder of The Gods Planet project and a label together with Ness.

"My ambitious goal is to compose music to make people move but also intellectually stimulate. I’ve learned that the track’s mixdown phase plays a key role in this sense, directing the way you want people listening to it and to considering the entire spectrum of feelings you can get from it". - During the years he developed his unique sound and technics into a defined style that is easy to recognize even in this mix.

Hypnotic, Droning and Atmospheric Dark Techno are the words to describe Bassiani Podcast's next episode coming from Italian hero. Born and educated in Rome, the young Italian producer Luigi Tozzi was strongly influenced by the roman scene and its local artists, many of whom gave a crucial contribution to the birth and growth of the deep techno sound. Luigi’s music has so far been released on the established label Dynamic Reflection as well as setting a regular cooperation with the very promising and mysterious techno label Hypnus Records from Sweden, where he found a platform that inspired him to develop his style. Melting the tribal and hypnotic elements of techno with the atmospheric and emotional side of ambient music he is making his own path in the world of electronics. Recently this has gotten him in contact with Dino Sabatini which led to the opportunity to join Outis Music that has released well known artists such as Modern Heads, Brando Lupi, Donato Dozzy among others.

Svreca at Paral·lel Festival 2016

Luigi Tozzi is becoming a regular contributor to our collective. Over the years, he has thrilled us by coming to the Czech Republic to perform his live acts or DJ sets to both Harmony parties as well as the yuggadus club nights curated by Alfred and Yan at Ankali. 

The most recent time (in connection to us), Luigi proved that he is a well-established artist was the release of his remix of Jamida’s ‘Wad II’ [HARMONY003]. A track which is telling about situations you have dealt with and a personality that is moving forward. 

The podcast which he recorded exclusively for our series is turning the mood in the opposite direction. It will creep through a swampy habitat, heavy thoughts and uncertain times. Relating to the current season, which every year evokes strong emotions in people, Luigi once again shows what an always-on-point artist he is.
