It encapsulates the struggles and inner turmoil of the human experience through its music. With dark, haunting atmospheres and harsh, distorted vocals and screams that seem to come from the depths of its soul, it creates an atmosphere that is both eerie and alluring. Its music serves as a vessel for it to confront its own demons, as well as a way for others to feel understood and validated in their own struggles. Through its art, it brings to light the darker aspects of life that are often overlooked or pushed aside.

After an annum of repose, London-based and industrial-clique-doted Depth.Request offers to consideration what's promised to be the first volume in a series titled Hostile Responses & Provocations. Boasting an international lineup, this post-punk, EBM-leaning VA release revolves predominantly at a pace of 135 BPM and features occasional outbursts of indiscernibly distorted lyrics throughout its six rough-hewed, distinctly industrial cuts.
Setting a brooding but aptly instigating tone, No.Ba's opener Bourbon Drive rolls out with unhastily tumbling percs, widely mounting pads and grungy bass cast behind roaring outcries of a rather aggravated vocalist.

Positing that Hate's A Loaded Gun, Istigkeit then continues by elevating velocity, hardening itsrelentless kicks and violating the rest of the spectrum with walls of sandy hats and whooshesoccasionally intersected with looped utterances.
