Bright Light Bright Light - How To Make A Heart (Ruby Tuesday Club Mix)

Johan is a Norwegian composer for film and TV. He has produced scores for Hollywood productions, European Productions, Documentaries, Horrormovies, commercials and many other things.  He also makes music for NASA  and ESO. 

Johan started playing music at the age of seven and has been composing music since the age of ten. He has played in over a dusin bands, from pop bands to metal bands with concerts and touring nationally and internationally. He plays drums, guitar, bass, piano, synth and keyboard and have been doing so for more than 25 years and has several album and single releases from his former career as a touring musician.
 
 
 
Johan has worked freelance as a front of house sound-technician for seven years, scene-technician for ten years and has a long career as a professional arranger and song instructor for theater and plays. He has also composed, recorded and produced songs in many different genres through out the years.
 
 
Johan is educated in jazz-harmony, music-theory, music-history, sound-technique and sound-design.Living near the immense forest of the central-east Norway, he draws inspiration from that environment daily to fully express himself in all of his music. His niche is music for TV and film. 


With clients ranging from The European Space Agency, NASA and American film students and film academies, Johan is already experienced and working his way up as a composer.

"I'm based in London and have been playing piano since I could hardly reach the keys.

Music production and remixing initially took me into the world of DJing. I've now returned to my first love and am working with an orchestral palette once again. I supply library music for US services and compose for video games, film and apps.

My music is varied and I specialise in emotional melodies and strong underscore work, always with quirky elements. As is necessary in this industry, I can turn my hand to most styles.

From a production standpoint, my turn-around rate is fast and I can capture a mood quickly. Speedy changes to scheduled work at the last minute are never a problem as suitability and flexibility are my defining characteristics.

I'm an aging hipster who grew up with underground electronic, indie, old soul and rap. I'm also an illustrator and designer with work appearing globally, but mostly in US and European markets. 
I'm stuck in the US. I heavily disagree with my country's racism, homophobia, sexism, classism and general move toward Fascism. If you're reading this and you're not in the US, I want you to know we're not all the evil bastards shown and many of us feel trapped in a nation that is becoming less like the place we thought it was or would be.
