The ep kicks off with the hypnotic, “Listen”, where obnoxious snare snaps and clops lead to a huge pulsing bassline. A secret weapon for any dj, this one doses the dancefloor with a captivating groove then adds a catalyst of elasticised bass embellishments to truly get things smoking.

Keeping the vibe lively, Dazee joins Distract and adds her production skills and humour to “Might Get Wobbed” A whispered vocal chant emerges from the alarms warning there’s a psycho on the loose!  (could this be the mad scientist, Distract or the laser-eyed villain Dr Dazee…?) Keep dancing to the heavyweight bass and skilful drumwork - just don’t turn around ….!

You escape to the rainforest, into the “Amazon” but the danger isn’t quite over. As tinkling keys shower down like rain, a thunderous low Reece accompanied by its roaring refraction are joined by flashes of dramatic horn swells. You’re lost in the storm in the jungle but there’s a spirit looking out for you and calming you with gentle vocals. Or is that just a voice in your head? … and what was that strange formula you took?

The epic title track, Formula drops like a tsunami. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful melancholic intro, this one needs to be treated with care: entire dance floors have been destroyed by the tidal wave of bass.
