Adelia is a dj origin from Prague, actually based in Spain. She has been a dj since 2015. Her style began with dark techno but turned into deep techno music really fast. Adelia has a lot of experiences with her own events and gigs across Czech republic and Slovakia. She already made podcasts for names such as Oslated, radio Ozora, Bahn Barcelona and many more. Her touch for music is very specific with feelings from other galaxy.

Spanish producer and dj Dario Duegra lives in Barcelona. 
He is the Founder of the music concept ”NODE” which encompasses an event brand and record label. 
Music-wise, he is characterized for his love for wrapping, continuous, hypnotic and mental techno, as shown in his sets at a wide range of parties in Spain and outside his country in the UK, Germany or Finland.

His first release, "Traum”, come out on Steve Parker´s MUTED label in the "Wave Textures : øne" compilation. In 2020 he created his own imprint, NODE Recordings, with three more tracks, also released a single on Postdynamic, Cliche Morph´s label.

@intmprl is the character Tiago Soares has been sculpting for the last few years, when it comes to making people dance. Crucial element in the electronic dance scene of his hometown Coimbra, where he remains active with the project Volúpia; and more recently in Lisbon with FUTURA proposal.

Intemporal crafts body/mind journeys to the moment through the depths of the electronic music, sensitive to the dancefloor and always focused on transporting the actors and himself to different dimensions, without temporal barriers.

TF #066: Agnosia [Dust Rec] - Spain

Agnosia, a duo formed by Eric and Miguel, producers with a long way behind the decks and productions.  Started on music scene 7 years ago, My Bloody Valentine, Joy Division, Slowdive or Explosions in the sky are some of the inspirations of his personal “vision” of music. Now, with this project, they want to explore the atmospheric side of music.  Always walking between techno, shoegaze or post-rock, they started to produce 5 years ago, trying to show his personal way of music.

The music of Agnosia wants to innovate in the techno fields, adding some new ways with new elements and architectures in the compositions they do. Progressive to the end tracks, forcefulness and deep kicks and basslines, and some guitar distortions and effects to made epic the melodies they build.
Now, they have published his first Album on Dust REC. “Motion and Emotion”, focused in the experimentation with drones, textures and atmospheres but mixed with really forcefulness hypnotic grooves they will drive us crazy. 

"What’s happening? It's warm inside... She told me a reason, a reason to live. 

Where are my echoes? The rainfall from my friends, the pain fades into atmospheres, the void it’s comfortable, and me... I’m losing my head."

Born in Spain, Juan Rico is a DJ who has rapidly attained the recognition other artists have taken a long time to gain. He marks his birth as a DJ about 1997, but it wasn’t until his first release in 2002 under the Swedish label Emergence that he became known professionally.  He has shown his quality skills recording for emerging imprints like Pole Recordings, Wolfskuil Records, and his very own Architectural label. 

The set, nearly two hours long was recorded at Bassiani as part of the Wolfskuil Records Night. It's a well-executed mix that focuses especially on the dark, ambient textures, crosscut with hints of hypnotic Dub techno. 
Displaying his impeccable taste in music, Architectural crosses varied musical fields, offers deep and adventurous mix contrasted with dancefloor edge.

Tiago Soares tem 25 anos. Natural de Coimbra, mora atualmente nas Caldas da Rainha, onde estuda Som e Imagem na ESAD (Escola Superior de Artes e Design).

O tipping point no percurso de Tiago aconteceu em 2013. Apesar de, desde cedo, ouvir todos os géneros de música e frequentar vários tipos de festas – electro, drum n bass, techno e psy-trance –, foi na edição desse ano do festival Super Bock Super Rock que Tiago ficou “completamente viciado” na eletrónica. No palco Antena3 do festival, na altura ainda no Meco, o live de Julien Bracht criou uma atmosfera de tal forma incrível, que o conimbricense se começou a interrogar sobre aquilo que se passava do outro lado da cabine, e que o fez querer começar a misturar. “Ouvinte compulsivo” de música, ainda hoje não se limita a um ou dois únicos estilos e, apesar das suas escolhas incidirem maioritariamente sobre o techno, sente sempre necessidade de ouvir novas sonoridades que o cativem.

O primeiro sítio onde tocou publicamente foi no claustro do DARQ (Departamento de Arquitectura da Universidade de Coimbra). Entretanto, já passou pelo Gare, Infame ou NB Coimbra, e podemos hoje encontrá-lo na residência do projecto Volúpia.Lab, que acontece todos os meses no Aqui Base Tango, em Coimbra. A Volúpia surge em 2016, quando Tiago, Frederico Martinho, Cláudia Franco e David Sarmento decidem criar um coletivo (sem fins lucrativos) que explore a relação entre a arte e a música, construindo ambientes em que o som e a imagem se unem. 

Dois anos volvidos, a Volúpia conquista a residência mensal no referido espaço, onde tem conseguido levar artistas que partilham a mesma paixão, em eventos de entrada livre. Embora existam projetos excelentes na cidade, e promotores que trazem vida à cena eletrónica, Tiago destaca o colectivo Cosanostra, a Floating Layers, a Music Chemistry e o Coimbra Calling – ainda falta, hoje em dia, um clube que abrace estes projectos com regularidade.

Mais do que para ser ouvida, a música de intmprl é para ser sentida. O objetivo é que os seus sets sejam emocionais – ora mais corporais, ora mais mentais – criando atmosferas “envolventes, com pulsações fortes, ambiências orgânicas e um certo hipnotismo à mistura”. Como dj, Tiago tenta adaptar-se e contextualizar os seus sets ao espaço físico, ao público, e ao ambiente onde está a tocar.

O objectivo para os próximos tempos passa por lançar a sua própria música, e pela criação da editora Volúpia. Não adiantando muito mais, Tiago revela apenas que a Volúpia vai continuar no ativo, e que estará de volta no dia 21 de dezembro para um evento de 14 horas de techno. Uma antiga residencial é o espaço do evento onde, para além de um showcase com os artistas residentes (intmprl, Frederico Martinho, Kids on Acid (live) e a dupla The Quiet Man), existirão outras performances e instalações artísticas. Os convidados? Hedonic2 (David Rodrigues e Gil Mac), Caroline Lethô e marum.

Até lá, e mesmo depois desse evento, este intemporal podcast serve para “abrir o apetite” para o que está para vir.

N'A CABINE #013: intmprl

No início a música era ritmo. Sabor primitivo percussivo temperado com ingenuidade harmónica a que se foram juntando uma enorme complexidade de timbres e melodias. Depois de se apaixonar pelas sonoridades naturais do seu meio ambiente, pelas ondas dos mares, pelas tempestades, pelos chamamentos animais e até pelos silêncios, o ser humano apaixonou-se por si próprio e pela manipulação da sua voz, tornando-se, também ele, um instrumento musical primordial. Ali, naquele instante, aquilo a que hoje chamamos música passou a ser um veículo de expressividade e comunicação emocional, um movimento enraizado na linguagem, nos ritos e na dança. Avançamos alguns milhões de anos e descobrimos que esse veículo se expandiu exponencialmente e se ramificou em submovimentos. O Techno é um deles. Nascido no final dos anos 80 em parte incerta, mas batizado em Detroit, foi sendo moldado com base em filosofias importantes de experimentação, inovação, criatividade, ritmo, textura, melodia, manipulação e até de expressividade associativa, política e foi/é força importante na integração e luta pela igualdade de direitos. De estética heterogénea e maleável, o Techno conhece muitas máscaras e muitas reinterpretações estéticas, sem nunca ter sido descoberto limite ou horizonte. O Techno de hoje honra as suas origens e projeta-se no futuro, sabendo sempre que o agora é tudo.
Enkō é, acima de tudo, um amante de música. Como dj representa um salto para o reino mais hipnótico do Techno, com texturas densas e ritmos complexos. Ao deixar influenciar-se pelo vortex musical britânico e pelas paisagens electrónicas italiana e escandinava, Enkō faz música que é ao mesmo tempo mental e física.
Gravado em direto num evento com selo da promotora OBRΔ, a qual tanto admiramos e que temos vindo a acompanhar já há algum tempo, partilhamos aqui esta viagem para vossa apreciação, capítulo primeiro da nossa Floating Layers Radio. Desfrutem.

Floating Machine é um projeto de António Lourenço. Nascido em Coimbra - Portugal. Desde muito jovem sentiu-se apaixonado pela música. Interessado em tocar muitos instrumentos como guitarra, piano ou saxofone e fazer parte de alguns projetos experimentais.
Mais tarde, influenciado pela música electrónica, iniciou a sua atividade como Dj. Explorando toda a diversidade musical da cena electrónica, desde sonoridades mais relaxantes ou mais dançáveis, como acid jazz, dub, deep house, até ao techno e progressivo.
O início da produção electrónica começa mais tarde, usando todas as suas influências musicais, explorando as paisagens de sons experimentais, ambientais e também o techno com alguns grooves progressivos.
Tem participado nestes últimos anos em festivais como o Boom Festival, Freedom e Zna Gathering...

FLR03 - Floating Machine (LIVE)

David Rodrigues is the godfather of Cosanostra, the most persistent electronic music promoters and most respected producers of the best underground parties in Coimbra. 2017 is their 18h birthday. The list of names that performed in their weekly residence is endless...
Besides running this conspicuous organization, David also has a weekly radio show in a local station (Radio Universidade de Coimbra) called 'Pangrama' where he explores every aspect of contemporaneous electronic music. Basically David is a digger, and a very experienced one, and he likes to show it in his performances, so expect nothing but hibrid mutant electronics boosted by powerfull bass but allways with refined taste and carefull handling.

O percurso musical de Rui G. denota a sua insaciável curiosidade e dedicação à pesquisa sonora. Movido pelo desejo de explorar novos horizontes da música eletrónica, foi desenvolvendo a sua técnica com habilidade e sensibilidade, desafiando-se constantemente a construir narrativas musicais imersivas, onde cada set é uma jornada cuidadosamente tecida.

O seu fascínio pela eletrónica foi crescendo ao longo dos anos, permitindo um refinamento pessoal que culminou com a sua estréia oficial como DJ, em 2009. Nem dois anos depois, em 2011, aceita o convite para integrar o coletivo Elements, uma plataforma de renome dedicada à música eletrónica, sediada em Coimbra. Esta promotora revelou-se um marco fundamental na sua evolução artística, abrindo portas para atuar em eventos e clubes icónicos da cena eletrónica, tanto em Coimbra como no Porto. Foi ao lado de artistas que admira, como David Rodrigues, Nelson Flip, The Advent, Deepbass, Brando Lupi, Nobody Home, NTOGN, BLNDR, Antigone, Dorian Gray, Freddy K e Henning Baer, que Rui G. consolidou a sua identidade sonora.

Dedicado, curioso e ambicioso, Rui G. compromete-se a ultrapassar barreiras musicais, apurando constantemente a sua técnica, descobrindo e revelando novas nuances das paisagens sonoras que oferece ao público. Os seus sets transcendem géneros e desafiam perceções pré-concebidas, convidando o público a uma autêntica viagem sensorial, sempre surpreendente.

Nos últimos tempos, tem marcado presença em clubes de referência como o Gare (Porto), Stilvoll Club (Neuss, Alemanha) e KABINET MÚZ (Brno, República Checa). Em 2022, atinge um dos pontos altos da sua carreira ao atuar no Boom Festival (The Gardens), o maior festival de música eletrónica em Portugal.
