@b-file (Bernardo Rodrigues) has always been passionate about Electronic Music, particularly Psytrance.
In 2019 he discovered Ecstatic Dance and the ability that conscious dancing has to lead to a trancelike state, feeling of ecstasy and emotional release and expansion.
Since then his sets became more organic, weaving sound journeys with a fusion of different kinds of music (world, medicine, shamanic, tribal, melodic), with deep bass lines and uplifting grooves.

Shun Watanabe aka Doltz is well known for his masterful deep techno productions, with work out from Oslated, Circular Limited, and Annulled Music. However, his attention in ambient sound design has always been apparent, drawing us in to swirling and expansive sonic regions as his expertly-crafted rhythms propel us onward.
In Asa, his first strictly ambient work, he goes further, directing the listener’s attention to the shifting, crystalline structures and pulsing loops that ebb and flow through each track, inviting us to stay with each sound, each moment, even as it slowly disappears. Pure candy for your ears and mind.

PREMIERE: Sanjib - The Other Human's Face [Indefinite Pitch]

Odalie (@oodalie) is in search of the gentle, of what will caress us from the inside while shaking our buried emotions. Modularist and accompanied by Paolo Rezze on cello, she creates a music that oscillates between violence and gentleness, from glitch to layers, from eroded basses to ethereal bells, her moving landscapes oscillate between cocoons and grandiose expanses.

For this mix she revealed a whole palette of sounds, mixing them like colors to go from a soothing ambient to an almost epic electronica: we can see it as a tale or an initiatory journey. 

She'll celebrate her saga in 360 degrees spatial sound scheduled on July 16 at the Nuits de Fourvières for "Vogue la Nuit" at Subsistances (Lyon).

Odalie est à la recherche du doux, de ce qui va nous caresser de l’intérieur tout en venant secouer nos émotions enfouies. Modulariste et accompagnée par Paolo Rezze au violoncelle, elle crée une musique qui oscille entre violence et douceur, du glitch aux nappes, des basses érodées aux clochettes éthérées, ses paysages mouvants oscillent entre cocons et étendues grandioses.

Pour ce mix elle a révélé toute une palette de sonorités, les mélangeant comme des couleurs pour aller d’une ambient apaisante à une électronica presque épique : on peut le voir comme un conte ou un voyage initiatique. 

Elle fête avec cette épopée sa programmation en son spatialité à 360 degrés prévue le 16 juillet aux Nuits de Fourvières pour « Vogue la Nuit » aux Subsistances (Lyon).

Like a musical evolution, The Clearing Pt.2 grows, and writhes in front of you. The natural timbre of wood blocks coalesces nicely with the undulating water like synth, the wisp like melody sweeping through the trees surrounding. It’s an auditory awakening of the mind, and nature alike. Proving again and again that one can not live without the other in complete symbiosis.

2MR writes this, about the release: The Clearing, originally debuted in 2015 as part of the exhibition Flickers of Day and Night at Denmark’s ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum, consisted of larger-than-life spinning daisy sculptures surrounded by Djurberg’s signature claymation animations. Berg’s sound installation transforms from an ominous yet alluring pan flute composition into an otherworldly synth melody, underscored by a sticky echo tone and the occasional bird call. The effect is an almost unsettling invitation into the artists’ seemingly innocent forest, only to be plunged into the transgressive animations as the music transforms. 

The Clearing, and the rest of Hans Berg’ wonderfully nuanced Waypoints release will be out on the 16th of September.

O percurso musical de Rui G. denota a sua insaciável curiosidade e dedicação à pesquisa sonora. Movido pelo desejo de explorar novos horizontes da música eletrónica, foi desenvolvendo a sua técnica com habilidade e sensibilidade, desafiando-se constantemente a construir narrativas musicais imersivas, onde cada set é uma jornada cuidadosamente tecida.

O seu fascínio pela eletrónica foi crescendo ao longo dos anos, permitindo um refinamento pessoal que culminou com a sua estréia oficial como DJ, em 2009. Nem dois anos depois, em 2011, aceita o convite para integrar o coletivo Elements, uma plataforma de renome dedicada à música eletrónica, sediada em Coimbra. Esta promotora revelou-se um marco fundamental na sua evolução artística, abrindo portas para atuar em eventos e clubes icónicos da cena eletrónica, tanto em Coimbra como no Porto. Foi ao lado de artistas que admira, como David Rodrigues, Nelson Flip, The Advent, Deepbass, Brando Lupi, Nobody Home, NTOGN, BLNDR, Antigone, Dorian Gray, Freddy K e Henning Baer, que Rui G. consolidou a sua identidade sonora.

Dedicado, curioso e ambicioso, Rui G. compromete-se a ultrapassar barreiras musicais, apurando constantemente a sua técnica, descobrindo e revelando novas nuances das paisagens sonoras que oferece ao público. Os seus sets transcendem géneros e desafiam perceções pré-concebidas, convidando o público a uma autêntica viagem sensorial, sempre surpreendente.

Nos últimos tempos, tem marcado presença em clubes de referência como o Gare (Porto), Stilvoll Club (Neuss, Alemanha) e KABINET MÚZ (Brno, República Checa). Em 2022, atinge um dos pontos altos da sua carreira ao atuar no Boom Festival (The Gardens), o maior festival de música eletrónica em Portugal.
