'Broken mirror' is about not seeing one's self clearly as if I was seeing myself in multiple broken fragments of broken mirrors. The song is about seeing something and then missing it again, over and over. In contrast, I wanted the chorus to offset that with an intense and emotional plea "I know that I've never been apart from you." 
I wanted to set a premise lyrically in the verse, like a bow that's tightened, and then with the chorus you release the tension, and the arrow is released. 
Musically, there's really strong inspiration of British folk music in this song. Songs that have been written way before the age of the modern songwriter, not knowing who the songs were written by, old songs…

"Unité Périphérique" : Certaines chansons sont habitées par la lumière, d’autres par la gravité, d’autres encore par une forme de bascule plus difficile à nommer. La Spirale 128, invention née au cœur de mes recherches, m’aide à avancer dans cette matière : elle me permet de composer à partir de trajectoires, de couleurs, d’intensités, de mouvements, comme si la musique devenait elle-même un espace à parcourir. C’est pour cela que l’album est majoritairement instrumental. Beaucoup de choses essentielles circulent avant les mots, dans un souffle, dans une vibration, dans un retour de basse, dans une ouverture harmonique, dans une suspension. Et quand la voix surgit, elle ouvre une chambre plus nue. J’ai pleuré, chantée par Alouma Aves, fait partie de ces moments. Le Conseil de la Tortue, dimension plus universelle et profondément géohumaniste.

Cet album porte ma manière d’habiter la création : chercher des formes nouvelles, creuser une sensibilité, inventer sans fermer, et faire de la musique un lieu de passage pour la paix. Je parle d’une paix vivante, exigeante, reliée au soin, à la mémoire, à la dignité humaine, à la capacité de sentir encore l’autre et le monde. Cette musique vient de là. Elle avance avec humilité, avec intensité, et avec le désir profond de faire circuler quelque chose de bon dans une époque saturée de bruit, de séparation et d’épuisement. Spirale des Langues est une chanson un peu à part, car elle présente 5 langues expérimentales qui font partie de mes recherches créatives liées au Langage Vivant.
