This is the A-side to my next EP for Broken Robot Records, and has been my end of set track for some time. I really tried to push my knowledge of sound design to the limits during it's making and in the process learned a whole bunch of techniques that i'd simply be lost without.

Greetings, my  friends!  

The life is going on and we are changing it ourselves making our conscious choise. Everything which does not fit into new mode of thoghts is becoming outdated and vanishes in the past. People have many ways of development and implementation of their talants, so life always suggests the right time to change one's course. 

Today I officially announce that Parallax Breakz is ready to leave modern Progressive Breaks / Psy Breaks stage. In 2011 there will be last releases in that style on RUNE, Scarcity, Raveart, VIM and other labels. Making something in breakbeat style, will be among new ideas and experiments with live sound and light styles of electronic music.  

The project will be re-oriented to producing and promoting music, mainly in chill-out & lounge / acid-jazz / psy-chill / jazzy breaks & deep dnb. Probably, in the future there will be releases with new Prog & Psy Breaks tracks/remixes, in any case, it will be rear exception, because I am busy with new musical projects. I ask for your understanding - in the near future I have other priorities.  

I thank everyone for supporting Parallax Breakz. Thanks to all the listeners, musicians, DJs, label owners and radio show hosts for their love. ;)  

The label of RUNE recordings with the help of Dima 'D-Fast' Pavlenko and Misha 'M_Spark' Iskra will continue its activities and in the near future will please the true fans of breaks with new interesting music.

With their first collaborative release on Cognitive Music, Bad Boyz Of Breakz, KJ of K5 and DJ Rob-E, come swinging hard with a licensed cover of the 80’s Freestyle classic Don’t Stop The Rock, delivering a fresh update to the track while maintaining the electro elements of the original. 

The track starts out with a breakbeat that is very quickly met with the familiar melody and chopped up high pitched “Don’t Stop’ vocoded vocal snippets.  A floor shaking 808 bassline comes in with bits of the recreated original vocoded vocal being introduced as the energy grows.  By the time the verse takes over, a nasty snarling bass fills things out with the original melody as it builds to the first big break.  With the drums stripped away, the vocal and a big riser continue to add intensity, building to a huge, driving complextro line.  The track continues to smoothly work between the vocals and the complextro elements to its completion, weaving between both while leading listeners and breakers on an amazing journey.  

Sure to appeal to the masses, this updated version of the classic is not to be missed!

Affective is the most perspective young musician of modern Russian electronic music. The author of the project, Alexey Kindikov, was born in Samara (Russia) and now lives in Nizhnevartovsk.

Alex's acquaintance with electronic music has taken place thanks to the group "The Prodigy", and passion for trance-sounding has begun with melodious works of Robert Miles. Alexey has gained his first experience in producing own compositions at the age of fourteen years. His comments on it:

"When my contemporaries knocked a ball around court yard, I wrote music."

The result hasn't kept itself waiting long. Alexey has shown author's works for the public - and his music has found the first admirers. Affective becomes the resident of Russian label Tranceport Recordings in 2005 where he successfully signs first singles. Alexey's first album "Unable Dreams" is released in 2008 on his "home-label".

Affective's music is concerned to be interesting by successful artists: Alex M.O.R.P.H., Woody Van Eyden, Lange, Sensorica, Andy Hawk, Roger Music, Suzi Solar, Access Denied, DaVIP, Abdomen Burst, Under This, Line of Sight, Karl Sav, GEON, Retroid, Llupa etc.

For today Alex works in various musical styles - breaks, drum'n'bass, dubstep, progressive trance, chill out etc. His thoughtless attitude to life is only a plus for Alexey's creation.

Affective's music is successfully released on respectable labels worldwide - RUNE Recordings, Armada, Digital Sensation UK, Elektroshok, Olaris Records, Particles, Mistiquemusic, Discover, Neuroscience.

At the moment Alexey actively works on third studio album. It is the music of the first-rate quality which has found realization in mad ideas of the author. Stay with us and you will be the first to hear Affective!
