Introduced to electronic dance music over twenty years ago, Corcyra's musical background extends from classical training to the underground Washington DC sound, expressing a love and energy only felt through her modern and edgy breaks. Formally stepping behind turntables in 2005, Corcyra has led her crowds from the boundaries of deep progressive to a driving peak hour, and back with a dirtier, electro breakbeat style.  

Most recently joining the Rune Label DJ team, Corcyra has also played well-known venues throughout the Washington DC area such as Ultrabar, Ibiza, Paradox, and DC Star as well as deeper underground warehouse events throughout the entire mid-Atlantic area. I am just a HUGE music fan!!!  After hearing my first Florida breaks back in the middle to late 90's and then going to a Baby Anne show in Atlanta, I was hooked.  I love a little bit of it all, just depends on my mood as to what I want to hear.  If its too loud, you're too old......................................
