At the forefront of Bristol’s contribution to the pulsing new UK jazz scene come Run Logan Run, an alchemical fusion of surging polyrhythms and screaming guttural saxophone. Since forming in 2016 the band have earned a reputation for explosive live performances, full of raw power and visceral energy. Guided by the searching and fearless tone of founding member Andrew Neil Hayes’s saxophone, the project continues to evolve a line-up that has featured many of the city’s most innovative musicians, including drummers Dan Johnson and Matt Brown, producer Riaan Vosloo, and vocalist Annie Gardiner.

Guitarist and composer who specialises in jazz, funk, fusion, improvisation and instrumental music.
I write and record my own music, work as a session player and sideman for various artists, and have many of my own projects including the Bristol-based fusion trio Troika.

Started as a drummer but then they let me get hold of some other instruments. One man band composing and recording at home; styles (roughly) include post-rock/electronic/acoustic/ambient/experimental. 
Song-based more guitar-driven project titled 'Bin day!' coming  early 2026 with the albums 'Regular fit' and 'Salvage Plan.' Like buses; you wait 3 years then 2 come at once. I'm not entirely sure if 'socio-critical' is the right term, but they explore themes of social conventions and norms, how habits and customs seem to unconsciously change as we age. Also working at a soul-destroying job and the craziness of a large bureacracy. I take a swipe at myself too and there's occasional humour. Aiming to put out on this and other platforms...
