From an early age, Peter Farr, best known for his alias Urple Eeple was playing the guitar with a passion and had an early love for blues, jazz and rock music. In his formative years, Peter began frequenting underground warehouse parties and became turned onto electronic music. He became enamored with early rave culture and it’s departure from the status quo. In the years to come Peter would spend countless hours playing synthesizers and learning the art of sound engineering and music production.

When Peter was in college he joined the collective “The Chillage” which met together on a weekly basis to critique each other’s songs. The members of this group would eventually form the prominent west coast record label, “Chillage Records.” During this time Peter would release his first EP, “Proper Fornication” and go on to release a number of singles on successful compilations.

To date, Urple Eeple is a vehicle for Peter to consistently deliver music that contains cutting-edge rhythms, ear-pleasing sounds and melodies that are emotionally moving. In his most recent EP, “Lost in Motion,” Peter has combined thick and warm retro synths with luscious chord work, and intricate rhythms that will satisfy the most avid of beat junkies.
