Previously called Autumn Clovers, this little piece of magic evolved into Spellbreaker 6th as my own booth-role became something more 'n more complete as I one night, in quite the psychedelic mood, bursting with furious anger and a clever little smile, broke Satan's spell over me, that had caused doubt and fear in me since I was a child. My better brother, who will, in contrast, Always be my brother, then appeared, shouting HE BROKE THE SPELL...SPELLBREAKER! SPELLBREAKER!

Hence, Spellbreaker 6th.

This little sumthin'sumthin' is one of my earlier projects. Not edited much, just some echo and ambience 'n such. Cool sound, although not intended; it's just bad quality. But me 'n Hans Petter is really in sync there so what the heck, let's post it!

And also... i think u may think of this as a symbol of a sort of release of a kind o' cramp, a redemption o' a muscle that has been hyper-tense for roughly 2010 years. or 21, u know, whichever suits u.

The Death of a feeling o' dying.
The beginning of a peace.

Try to find that peace.
It is there for u, waiting.
'n also - don't be afraid to get bored.
Try to make peace with the lack o' a thousand needs.

Fears & Tears Vol. 1

Such a great gift it was, -- that kind of creative explosion that happened inside me (ref. David Lynch's diologic biography) going through the stages of editing, realising more and more how big this is getting, obviously, but also how my focus seem to have started one place and move itself to this, seemingly predestined sound that was just at the next stop, -- just had to get 'round this corner, and then through that many-faced oppurtunity we have right at 3minutes.32seconds.55hundreds... through hundreds of tiny bits put together, being, essentially, like a Lego-Builder at the end of it (like i was when I was a child), but also a bit like an engineer, or a coder, where it's all just like any other way of expressing life through arts and creative processes, where u absolutely Love the outcome of the experience, but also the eNTire process of building it. - Because eVerYthiNg - eVerY noTe - came for the sinple fact that i really experienced true pleasing o' the Heart 'n Soul 'n Mund throygh luly 'n fully focusinh on that which i wanted to hear/play, - which might not've been as easy if i didnmmt have that mOmEntAry reCirdOng to start eith(belol'd to thmm GrOunD!-;) 'n start with No. 2 some time. Valencia is where the fear started, then spread all across the world, making silence the new sound, the cancer that took over what once was such a wild 'n free world.

Valentina is the 6 year old girl that was faced with the fear. The shadow. Death. Terror. 

The fear raises alarm, the alarm causes panic, and then the city, anxious, but also enticed, awaits the Big Blow…, but no…, it hides (in order for The Fear to establish itself 'n take hold of the people - a manipulation by nature), ‘n it is only presented to you here, in this project. This is, I think, in part, because the listener gets to experience what th' natural continuance of this setting of percieved crisis would have to evolve to, had it not been for th' fact that this cRisiS is a matter of a mere casting of an illusion ~ without a single act of violence launched or a drop of blood shed. ~ only th' suspiciously obvious 'n yet so strangely unevidenced threat.

The Fear, specifically, occurs at its purest form of expression as part of a transitional sequence in pArt two.

This music was made in the moment, which is a method that creates possibilites to forces unknown to us, enabling them to guide us through a memorable process, a story, a feel. As such was, too, the editing process. 

I am grateful for this, and give Big Thanks to Erlend on the Clarinet, and to the forces of the universe that decided to gently nudge me into the realm of energies and raw emotion, that is this, my dear child,

... -seCond pArt; twice the length of the first one...and probably twice as creatively mature and rich, though I remain the most driven, emotionally, by the consistency of the themes and the progressive nature of pArt One. Probably worked this recording for half a year, listening to the naked, original recording of 15 minutes for 3-5 months beforehand. 

This seCond pArt is less drive, more storytelling, 'n requires from the listener an emotional willingness to endure. May i suggest, to my adult listeners, a merryJ?

At some point in the not too distant future, I Mighty Might go back into editing of this piece. But only this, the second part, and only the ending of it. I have an idea for the drums. However, for that to happen, I will just (oh no!) have to buy a new iMac, 'cause the MacBook Pro i got now simply cannot handle the size of this project.... (there are nearly a hundred 'n thirty different tracks in this second pArt alone, so no offense to my dear - dual-core'd, 8Gb RAM'd -  Luna for not coping anymore!... actually quite impressing u didn't quit sooner!...(i don't mind having to buy a brand new machine though... actually Love it... we'll just call it my stationary one....! can't wait! :-))

Oh, 'n did u know that this project is a mere iPhone-recording? Yes, the 15 minutes long, naked skeleton for this monster-project is actually recorded using the Voice Recorder-app that came with my iPhone 6s. This is actually the case with many o' my pieces, which u can clearly hear in all o' them, - however well (?) they have been edited, denois'd 'n drenchrd in reVrb 'n mmBienCe

Hats off to Apple for making the moment catchable, avoiding the pressure-inducing hazzle of setting up professional equipment before a take. But in the future, i need to check out the possibilities for connecting a more professional mic straight into my iPhone, as that would simply be the pinnacle of recording for me. I bet there already are ways for me to fix this, but if not - Apple! - start ur developin'!

So i guess my next album, starting from whenever i get back from dreamland, will be much better sounding 'n more professionally built. However, i'd like to say that even if Valencia & Valentina could have sounded better, i have rather enjoyed the sound from the iPhone-mic, as i feel it's got a quality i think fits with my image of a city under attack by supernatural forces. (Lol). 😘😜

Okay, i'm struggling with this updatin'-business. Something's wrong with the original project, where the sound has gotten all messed up at certain key-places, so i had to download the file from here to do a remaster, but now i realize the sound has gotten messed up here, too - albeit not at quite as important places, but nonetheless.... i'm working on fixing it, 'n hope u'lll be satisfied with the end result. Really bugs me the problems i have with the project-file. It's like my child is sick 'n i'm helpless to heal her.... :( or him... :)
