 The French Trips are a funk band from Illinois, who pride themselves on stage presence, great live sound, and originality. Influenced by acts such as, James Brown, Frank Zappa, and Talking Heads.

Chromophonic is a 5 piece rock/jamband hailing from Carbondale, Illinois. They have been gaining a lot of attention and notoriety for their high-octane live shows in their surrounding region. Their shows revolve around their uniquely entertaining original music which stylishly blends aspects of groove-oriented Rock, Funk, and tinges of Progressive Rock with tasteful improvisational jams; while occasionally drawing from a selection of fun,ever-changing cover tunes. Chromophonic released their first full length studio album in August 2018 and is currently gearing up to hit the road in 2019 for Spring and Summer shows in support of the new album.

For the better part of a decade, the eponymous songwriter found messages to put out. Utilizing the contributions of a revolving door of musical collaboration, the music became enlivened. Each member helps to fashion songs that evoke both a wildness in desire and nostalgia. What it creates is an outlet. Where distant memories and inspirations shape the present. Where the old generations of rock and roll are simply a jumping-off point into songwriting. Where pensive rhythms and swaying, foot-tapping melodies breathe once worn-out themes to new life.
 
There’s no such thing as a good or bad song. Music hits emotion or it doesn’t. The Mike Lynch Band makes good on this. As a Midwestern act from Carbondale, IL., now based out of Nashville, TN, they manage to relate a universal element through their airwaves. To shape songs that embody the errors and mistakes of experience. Music about love and inadequacy, hunger and guns. The Mike Lynch Band evokes the effect that collaborated life produces: honest and wild human emotion.

Biography
What makes Soul Census so special you ask? The musicians switch it up, trading instruments throughout their performance. There's a lot going on and you never know when they might just pull out an instrumental improvisation. One moment they're playing blues, the next its reggae with a little R&B, or something totally unrehearsed.

Description
The band consists of six members. Whitney Marie is a powerful vocalist and songwriter. Whitney's voice can fill a stadium and her lyrics will give you goosebumps as you feel every word she sings. T'Slick, or "T" as he likes to be called, is a powerhouse musician who plays drums, keys, guitar, and sings all the while. T's vocals will shake you and rock your world. Paulie B. is our keyboard player. Paul started by learning classical piano then moved on to guitar, bass, and drums. Paul is also a main songwriter in our music. Mark plays bass without effort. He is the yin and the yang, and he doesn't speak a lick of English. Kane Kerley is our lead guitar player. His solos are driven with pure energy. Peter Floyd is nicknamed the Bar Chord master. Peter plays rhythm guitar, percussion, and switches to drums. 

Band Interests
Soul Census is now planning a National Tour. Soul Census won the Summer Camp Music Festival audition. The tour will kick off at Summer Camp in Chilicothe IL.
The band has become a local legend, appearing on television and radio stations WDBX 91.1 and PBS Television.
