Welcome to episode 1 of Let's Talk Psychology, a podcast series focusing on breaking down research on all things psychology! This episode, we delve deep into the research surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and its subsequent lockdown as an influencer of students' psychological and physiological functioning. We also delve into how race and socioeconomic status played a role in how the pandemic/lockdown impacted an individual. Lastly, we discuss possible solutions for helping treat some of the side-effects of the COVID-19 lockdown as well as what future research needs to be done to better understand the lockdown's impact on neurodivergent students and those who were actually infected with the virus.
