Bio:
Despite the many weird and wonderful submissions they get from Joe Public at Data Transmission – think everything from bottles of homemade hooch to used underwear – Data Transmission freely admit that we were most surprised to receive a cassette accompanied by a polaroid photo of alphabetti spaghetti spelling out ‘I AM RON MEXICO’ in the post at the tail end of last year. Intrigued, DT dusted off their Walkman and gave the tape a listen to find that what was on offer, was, well…surprisingly good!!! They then set about finding him online, only to find that there was not a single mention of him on the internet.

Several weeks passed and having written Ron Mexico off as an elaborate prank concocted by the over active imagination of one of their many friends with far too much time on their hands, Data Transmission didn’t expect to hear from him again. Then the postman delivered a bottle of tequila every day for twelve days. A postcard then followed, with the following message inscribed in Spanish “Now you’re suitably inebriated, perhaps we can talk on Facebook”. One brief chat later, Data Transmission had arranged for Ron to come with us to burgeoning snow festival, Rise, wherein we’d meet the mysterious selector in the flesh for the first time. His rider, predictably contained a variety of mescal, alongside “1 semi-inflated inflatable shark, a frozen banana and a copy of the Karate Kid on VHS”. The time in the French Alps with a masked Ron was fleeting and having ingested what we’d consider a potentially lethal amount of Mexican spirits, Ron Mexico left as much of an enigma as he’d arrived.

6 years on and Ron Mexico became the selector of all music for Data Transmission

After some gentle coaxing and assurances by Hobbs (UK) that he wouldn’t bring any “cameras or cops” ‘Ron’ instructed him to meet him at London’s St. Katharine’s Dock at 10.47 AM precisely with the promise he’d see him. And see him he did. Arriving by jetski, the still masked Mr. Mexico disembarked on to a pontoon wherein they set about creating 'Scolarisé à Domicile'.

WEIRD. the moniker of Gianni Cuomo, represents the essence of the party spirit.
A cheerful and urgent sound that pushes the dancefloor to dance and smile uncomfortably. Neapolitan, class 1988, begins a first approach with the electronic music fascinated by that infinite universe called House Music, having the opportunity for the first performance, to accompany two artists such as Kenny Dope Gonzales and Joe T Vannelli.

With his new AKA, he released his first track, "Gravity" on the Ukrainian label "Whoyostro" in February 2020, entering the TOP 100 Minimal / Deep Tech on Beatport, at position number # 5 for over two months! From here shortly other top releases will follow, on labels such as: Moan, Deeperfect, blanc, TBX and many others. 
Currently supported by top DJs such as: 
Enzo Siragusa, De La Swing, wAFF, Santè, Leon, Neverdogs 
and many others.

From its productions emerges a beat driven, which blends into a low intensity and never monotonous, and that they go to exalt the true protagonist of any of its tracks: the Groove. All oriented and destined for the dancefloor, its releases have one common denominator: Create the party.

Ri Dios is an electronic DJ and Producer born and raised in Madrid, Spain and based out of Ibiza, Spain. At a very young age, growing up around the lively nightlife of Madrid sparked his passion for Techno and House music. In 2013 Ri Dios decided to move to London to explore the rich UK House scene, which has played an integral part in shaping his sound. As if moving to London wasn’t enough, after Ri Dios felt he had a good grasp on the London style, he decided to embark on an even bigger musical journey and moved to Ibiza. He currently resides on the island and continues to refine his style with every release. Having clocked countless hours in the studio building his music persona, he set his foothold in the industry and began releasing tunes which embody jackin house grooves, powerful low ends, and synth stabs topped with vocal loops. His music has been played at world famous clubs like Fabrik, Sankeys, Pacha, and has even been heard on El Row and Boiler Room. Ri Dios continues to release music that will make dance floors shake internationally!
