Based in Lille (In France) and already well-known on the local scene, XEM has been performing since 2015 under the alias of Formex, adopting an Industrial/Hardcore style.
 
In 2022, following a long period of introspection into the fundamentals of techno music, a new project was born. Currently on the rise artistically, XEM is increasingly performing at various events in Lille. This year 2024 marks the beginning of a new adventure, that of Circle (an event organization), of which he is the founder.
 
His techno, both proper and groovy, has managed to retain all the energy accumulated from his past experiences and promises to make everyone who attends his performances sweat.

CHRONICLES - 008 - XEM

Off Beam, DJ,producteur et resident du label Eclipse Lunar est une figure de la scène techno Lilloise. Ancien beatmaker, il puise son inspiration dans la techno old school, influencé par des artistes emblématiques tels que Ben Sims, Lars Klein, BeauDidier, ou encore Marco Bailey.
Son parcours musical, riche en expériences variées, se reflète dans son attrait pour les sonorités groovy, ambiantes, percussives et tribal.
Lors de chaque set, Off Beam cherche à réveiller l'instinct tribal et primitif enfoui en chacun de nous. Il improvise constamment entre deux et trois platines, créant des transitions fluides et surprenantes.Il transforme chaque prestation en une expérience immersive et transcendante.
Grâce à son expertise technique et son sens aigu de l'improvisation, Off Beam transporte son auditoire dans un voyage sonore unique, mêlant rythmes hypnotiques et grooves envoûtants, assurant ainsi des sets mémorables et captivants.
