Sad Robot Records is an initiative that came to fruition in 2017; a recording studio/production unit with a sole focus on producing fantastic local music within the Perth scene. 

2018 saw Sad Robot Audio operating within The HAM Hub Creative Space located on 241 Hay Street Subiaco, Perth WA.  January 2019 saw the closure of The HAM Hub due to the studio building falling under new ownership. 

Sad Robot Audio is pleased to announce we are working with Sumo Sound, an amazing studio in Perths suburbs. 
In addition to still providing our top of the line recording services Sad Robot Audio now offers mixing and mastering services in addition.

Sad Robot Records is the sonic engineering venture of James Buchanan who has been an active member in the Perth music scene from a young age, from playing in bands, producing EPs and engineering recording sessions in bands such as Sunshine Punch, Dimwitted Teens, The Measure, Sherbert Hut, ELK and a series of solo projects.
