Sometimes you are so emerged in the music, and suddenly you lift your head from the board, the sun is coming up, and you realize you have been playing for hours... 
That was my experience at my first fully live sunrise set, at this beautiful Hot Mess of a camp.

To play in Martinique for the first time was somehow a challenge; my previous lives were all quite "smooth", and I wanted to make something groovy, impregnated with a Caribbean spirit.. full of rhum and blue skies

It took a few weeks to produce the most part of the new themes that I first tried there; a lot of sun, a little filthy, a little sexy, and percussions, percussions, percussions all over...there are a few of my "standards" that you can Shazam in the full set, I messed up a few times between the different themes and effects, but anyway, that's the best part of playing live...it never works as planned

So many thanks to the team of la Sun goes down, the public that enjoyed the music (even though I was not playing Ryanna), and the ocean that makes islands where we gather to party

We are very lucky to have Indieveed on board with us despite the ongoing war happening in Ukraine. He has managed to find a moment to share with us his interpretation of what a groovy sunset is and in return let us remind ourselves that, while daily atrocities occur, music knows no borders and offers an escape to recharge our batteries and keep moving forward. 

Indieveed represents a new age of Ukrainian artists creating unique sounds through experimentation and "lateral thinking" focused on creating music with melodies and harmonies underpinned by a unique groove, mesmerizing percussions and atmospheric textures.

This mix tape is all of the above and more, easing us into the set smoothly, bringing that intensity in a slow and thoughtful progression of wicked indie dance tracks and groovy vocals in the second part of the set.

As the creator and resident of Colectivo Sonido Trópico of São Paulo, @s_paniol is a staple of his city’s local scene. The collective’s transcendental parties have brought the likes of Rampue, Oceanvs Orientalus, Xique Xique, Holger Hecler, and more to the city center while also traversing the world from Tulum to Tokyo. As a lifelong musician, Spaniol’s introduction to electronic music evolved from a background in classical guitar and flute as something of a “happy accident” whilst in his teens. Good thing for us though, as this current sound draws from all that surrounds him and has been featured on labels like Sol Selectas while gracing the stages at Katerblau, Sysifos, Heart Ibiza, De Martkantine and Public Works amongst others.

With elements of Classical, flashes of Brazilian Pop, Jazz, Samba, Caimbó, combined with both analog and didital percussion, the sounds of Spaniol are narrative, edgy, and undeniably energetic
