[01/03/2024] The Most-Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy! - By Abu Fuḍayl ‘Abdur Raqīb حفظه الله. Khutbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khutbah:

The importance of giving attention to the affair of Allāh (سبحانه وتعالى) being Merciful, and showing gratitude to Allāh for that.
The vastness of Allāh’s Mercy, and His giving of it to whomsoever He pleases.
Allāh’s Mercy towards the believers in this world and the hereafter. 
A tremendous ḥadīth that highlights the vastness of Allāh’s Mercy upon His slaves, and even upon the animals. 
Allāh’s Mercy to the believers and unbelievers.
The blessing of Allāh (سبحانه وتعالى) that His Mercy overrides His Anger.
Clarification regarding the distinction between the created mercy of Allāh and the mercy that is from His Attributes.
The Mercy of Allāh in granting opportunities to the believers wherein they can seek His forgiveness and gain nearness to Him.
The opportunity to rectify ourselves in the month of Ramaḍān.
Preparing ourselves for Ramaḍān just as a host prepares for an esteemed guest.
An āyah that highlights the virtue and excellence of the month.
Allāh’s command to fast the month of Ramaḍān.
How the Messenger ﷺ would inform his Companions of the arrival of Ramaḍān.
The meaning of the devils being shackled. 
Expiation of sins due to fasting this blessed month.
