Sunrise @ The Soundgarden~ Renegade Burning Man 2021

This is the second half of a recorded set from 2 years ago, during the first pandemic summer. A friend of mine started a live stream series that July out of the Karate Church in my home of Bellingham, WA, USA. This was the first night of the live stream and what I thought would be a 1hr set turned into a 4hr journey of hypnotic, driving grooves from a wide variety of underground deep house artists and record labels. This is one of my favorite sets I've ever played and I'm delighted that I thought to record it. I hope that the tracks in the mix inspire you and bring you in touch with the humanity of the globe.

The second coming of Sunset Town and as usual I had my chance to provide the Sunday Sunset soundtrack just as I do at the Australian Burn. This time it was a much longer slot so I took the chance to take everyone on a journey from the sunshine into the night. 
I especially dedicate this set in particular to my extremely hard working team at Sunset. This was our moment to let our hair down after an intense build and event and being able to let fly on our Shack's sound system was again an intense personal pleasure.

Born and raised in Guanajuato, México has been living for the past 9 years in Oslo, Norway. Having spent most of his childhood in the mountain hills of the Mexican "bajío" with his indigenous ancestors brought a big influence to his life. Pre-hispanic, folkloric, Latin-American, tribal, and shamanic sounds conform to an essential part of his musical exploration. This is for him, a way to keep his roots alive. Saul introduces complex sets, giving as result a multi-cultural sounds journey that appears to transport you to ancient rituals, always by the hand, naturally, of powerful and hypnotic basslines. Oslo has welcomed him with open arms and he's now earned the city's nightlife respect due to his consistent work.
