SAMA presents UN_defined

UN_defined is a new series of releases on SAMA's label Maximalist_Minimalist. This sound is heavily focused on, but not limited to synthesis, harmony, atmospheric soundscapes and broken beat patterns. A more “free” approach to making music, leaving any preconceptions about who or what I should be as an artist at the door. For being undefined means to experience creative freedom. 
        
Having a defined sound as an artist is simultaneously incredibly important to grow a fanbase and the most restraining thing there can be for one’s creativity. UN_defined will be an outlet for whatever SAMA feels like or am inspired by in the future.

SAMA is a DJ and producer from Utrecht, The Netherlands. 

SAMA's productions and sets have a signature dark, driving groove, where storytelling always takes centre-stage. Music riddled with small intricacies, a heavy focus on sounddesign and an infinitely perfectionist mindset; a Maximalist approach to a Minimalist sound, if you will. SAMA's music is a regular for many of the mainstay names in the scene, including Richie Hawtin, Freddy K, Rødhåd, Rene Wise, Marrøn, Cleric, Setaoc Mass and more. 

SAMA's sets and music have garnered him a residency at the well-respected ORPHIC events.
