Rolling in the Techno scene like a runaway train, Sam Kitts unstoppable momentum shows no sign of slowing down. Gracing the scene with his undeniably strong presence both on and off-stage, you'd be hard to find anyone with the same level of passion, encompassing vision or as driven about music. 
Bringing transformative synth soundscapes with Dark rhythmic techno, he brings both emotive and tribalistic responses from his productions and his live sets. 
Always deep in his productions chiselling away at the perfect sound, gaining reverence off peers and producers from around the globe, he furthers his own development to grow into the realms of his idols. 

With huge releases on, Kraftek Tronic and Respekt the end of the beginning has arrived. Taking inspiration from his heavy metal background and his love of thematic soundscapes, Sam's music always brings huge emotional impact with his contrasting melodies and driving momentum.

BACKGROUND Hegstraction grew up in the 80s & 90s heavily influenced by the emergent electronic music in Amiga, Nintendo & PlayStation video games & the movie soundtracks by electronic music pioneers Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis & Kraftwerk. Recent influences from German techno DJ/producers Felix Krocher & Stephan Bodzin.

INSPIRATION His inspiration differs from most artists as it comes from the dance floor where he is most at home. From over 20 years experiencing DJ sets worldwide throughout Europe, Asia, South & North America, his ideas have been shaped.

METHODOLOGY He approaches each track as a mini set, building up slowly, using level changes, sounds that stimulate & energize, following Skeletalism (using closely related sounds) & Massification (layering sounds over time) methods.
