"For You" has been such a compelling and emotionally charged song to play with. I have loved the ambient and electronic elements that make it feel deeply personal. It feels dreamlike and introspective, and familiar and other worldly. 
I had fun carefully arranging each element, the synth pads, intricate melodies and love the fluidity of it. the ebbing and flowing. 

the visceral quality the lyrics had "for you id give it all" traverse through a range of feelings, from melancholy and longing to moments of hope and uplift. 

I like the clarity and crispness of it that I usually dont end up with in my songs. I think the minimalism of each component of this song allows each to shine and hold more space here which has inspired me since making this one. I liked that the way it was produced ensures that the truth of the confession is never mistaken as anything less than a declaration of passionate love and that that isnt lost or muddled, but instead is expressed with striking honesty.

I hope you appreciate these "For You" versions and that your listening experience is both thought-provoking and moving. For those who appreciate music that resonates on an emotional level, I hope this song can be a profound and rewarding journey.

After the success of her first self-released EP “The Suspended Kid”, Sevdaliza releases her second batch of enigmatic songs on “Children of Silk”. The songstress/producer draws her influences from several textures like skin and glass. Sevdaliza’s melancholic visceral voice floats over beds of mechanical instrumentation, creating dynamics of chaos and order. Her songs have a philosophical questioning character, subjects like gender diversification and perception of emotion are strongly present. Diverse comparisons have been drawn yet it remains a difficulty to specify her in a particular genre. Rhythmic tensions build slowly into chaotic climaxes. Patrice has a few words he would like to say... 

“Ahead of my GU42 Berlin album release on March 29th, I wanted to share a very special live set from the other side of the planet. Like Berlin, Rainbow Serpent is an anomaly on the rave map. This mix will be online for a very limited period only:

The best dance floor in the world. That’s the Market Stage of Rainbow Serpent Festival to me. The energy of the Rainbow tribe, the rabid vibe and feeling of unity are difficult to describe to anyone who has not been here. Simply standing on the dancefloor and experience this incredible sound system is one of life’s finer pleasures. I felt absolutely honoured to be trusted with the task to close the festival. Looking onto the dancefloor from the dj booth, the Market Stage painted a beautiful picture. The atmosphere was electric and love-drunk all day, Nick Warren and D-Nox brought their A-game.

This is my third year in a row playing here and the absolute highlight on my yearly calendar. In these years my wife and I have made friends for life here, which is why we release this mix with our beloved Wildwood crew. We have grown extremely fond of Australia as a country. This place has received us with open arms from day one and never fails to blow our minds in many different ways. It has become our second home.
