This was my last show in Australia before I went travelling and wound up living abroad. I had a 45 minute headline slot with my sound system crew back home (big up Renegade Playground and Deaf Toll). The show was filmed but the footage was lost and I've been sitting on this mix for a while, unsure what to do with it. I put the word out to see if anyone might be interested in making a video and Trista (ElfinTreestar) put her hand up and made this amazing video for us. Thank you Trista!! This is a mixed genre set performed on 3 decks, the audio is raw, and if you were there you'll remember the energy, if you weren't I hope you can feel it whilst listening to this now! As a DJ this was a pretty challenging one to put together with lots of BPM changes. I went into this not caring about genres, I just knew that I had 45 minutes and wanted to go as intense, crazy and weird or dark as I could. 

Upon reflection when listening to this mix I realised it unintentionally told the story of my musical journey, from finding DNB through neurofunk, and then eventually meeting the Renegades and being introduced to gabba, hardcore, mutant bass and a bunch other new and exciting sounds.

Every now and then, I get the urge to challenge myself by mixing as many genres as I can, as fast as I can into a turbo mix which some how doesn't sound like a steaming pile of dog shit. This is one of those mixes. I don't think it's too stinky, but I have a bad sinus, so who knows?
