A versatile producer as well as an excellent solo rapper in his own right, Peter Simpson a.k.a Big Swizzle was born in Compton California. Later living through the cities of Los Angeles such as Watts, Hawthorne, South Gate and Downey raised by his mother. Being influenced by the different cultures of neighborhoods, Swizzle developed and possessed a knack for writing laid-back smooth ballads with the occasional social message track to mix things up. He also uses hazy humor into his rhyme style for added entertainment for his listeners. He quickly established himself as one of neighborhoods best and most controversial unsigned underground artists. 
Big Swizzle collaborated with many MCs and bands around Los Angeles and Orange county. This caused Big Swizzle to be the most searched out rapper to collaborate with. He eventually put together a compilation album featuring artist from California to Texas titled Unison Coalition. Later releasing his double album paying homage to Downey and Hawthorne titled Silent Pimp City/Hustle Town, featuring the smash hits Get Right and Sho’nuf. At the same time Big Swizzle is an aspiring Actor on the rise. He is a theater arts major in acting. He was in different tv series such as The Game and ER.  And he is not done.

Inspired during the process of writing the book Get Up: The Art of Perseverance by former MLB player Adam Greenberg and Ben Biddick, this podcast is encouragement for resilient and positive people tenaciously seeking to live their finest lives. It's fuel for the fire within!
