The photo for this magnificent creature I made last summer, on Maui beach. Big Green Turtle (honu in Hawaiian) swims and feeds for a long time, also fully submerged. Time after time it comes out to rest for a night and part of a day. This guy (or gal) is probably 100+ kg and ~50 years old, was laying down, chilling,  not paying attention to anyone or anything.

That fragile moment of freedom in between the notes! 

Long time did not capture my Cordoba KOA Edition nylon-string guitar. That day found guitar with a broken string, but it still had 5 more, so did not stop the inspiration. Backing track is tweaked NI Picked Nylon picking and Korg Gadget project on iPhoneX. Played guitar, recorded  sound in parallel into direct interface and a also room mic to capture the atmos and happy-little-accidents. Mastered with UA Oxide Tape, IK, and FabFilters in Live 11. New track will go to Uplifting Chillout album titled "Love", some day, maybe. TNX!

Wow, this is the 5th song posted from the album I started using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic! This song was inspired by the conservative agenda, which at the time was more noticeably gaining momentum, to systematically whittle away and block the rights of those groups that did’t align with their values. The conservative agenda continues to gain strength, and it is up to the people to support each other in maintaining and advancing rights (including those of groups one is not a part of).    

It has been a great pleasure working with Stricknice, Bitzone, and Wou-Wou on these tracks. We are blessed by all the support the SoundCloud community has given to our releases. We can’t wait to share more music with you all.

With all love and respect to Boris Blank and Dieter Meier work and their impact on modern music. Prego Maestro! Cari spettatori, godetevi la canzone!

Here is how it's done information, for the tech-junkies, like me. I played Arturia’s plug-in synths. The bassline synth is the MiniMoog V. Extended outro is done with ARP2600. Drums and pads are from Korg Gadget app and IK Multimedia. Beat is locked at 96 bpm.  I spiced and sugared it  with variety of IK Multimedia tools. All work is done on Ableton Live9. Hope you like the outcome!

Santa Ana Winds

My first ever recorded guitar instrumental, guys... well, some years ago :) Come as it was played originally, with some subtle 2016 remastering. One day I played this light piano back loop and then improvised the tune with my Cordoba Nylon String guitar. Added few lines of bass, flute, strings, and percs in the Logic Pro. All played on M-Audio Axiom Pro keyboard connected to Mac. Cordoba guitar (on the cover art) recorded through MBox2 interface, I think, or maybe embedded Macbook mic. Track comes from the older hard drive, with as-is guitar impromptu recording, meaning a vintage feeling. Meaning extra charm, right? 

I posted the track celebration celebrating 5,000 SC plays. Way beyond 3 Million by now somehow, woah! Thank you!

In My Mind (Original Cordoba Mix)

Sometimes things in your daily life just collide together.  You feel an early Halloween atmosphere around you; you listen to a novel “The Book of Strange New Things” that you think is going to uplift you and reaffirm your belief system but suddenly goes off the rails as you near its conclusion; followed by a real life event with a friend getting mugged in his “good neighborhood” resulting in a broken eye socket and a missing cat.  These things swirl in your head.  Then you hear an ominous track by the musician Clouders For: called “And After All the Wind Is Humming” that just grips you.  It feels like cold winds are on their way my friends… Bills are coming due.  Welcome the Freaks. Oh, and Happy Halloween to you.  ;)

The mid space of the track, starting at 0:40-0:50 and going to outro at 2:40, is the place to run your new ART over. It can be additionally looped. Lately I have been listening to Johnny Cash with a greater appreciation than ever before.  When doing this song, I felt close to Mr. Cash and his work.  I hope some of that feeling made its way into this song.  On Monday it will be 13 years since Mr. Cash left this earth.  His music lives on.

I owe so much on this song to the wonderful music and support from Hans and the additional care from Sam Prock.  Thank you dearly my friends.

👽 Sauserz Smoking Party! Alien Power! 👽

Don’t get confused on who-abducts-who. Never trust a Klingon. Analyze. Research. Reuse the Tech….. My deep PROCK-tology analysis of an alien material collected by Alien-Science M.D. Clubfungus, soundcloud.com/clubfungus. 
 Drastically dropped down Kurt’s 136Bpm to 124Bpm. Past year, I was looking for the newer spin in my prod and happy to release it on the Kurt’s track. The basic idea is even Deeper Electronic, Grooving and SYNTH-phony. Tuning into Slo-mo Disco, Deep, Indie Dance, Ska Electronica, also fancying Psytrance and Psybient, while curving all genres borders. 

Besides my Fender guitar, there is a tons of new synths/basslines the whole menu of Kurt’s sound preserved and reimagined. New drums for different, persistence of groove, featuring signature Kurt’s snares and rolls. Lotsa chopping, merging, re-pitching, reversing, alien-robo-voxing, synths/efx automation, panning, tweaking … you name it. Pretty much all of hte mad-professor tools, plus new ideas of PROCK-tology science are in. All resulting in year of learning from the best, since The Groove Surfer speaker cleaner and Martin L. Gore Featherlight remix. 

One more thing… It would be not Prock, who uses car-key-against-the-pipe bang in Depeche Mode remix, and not for the Clubfungus music-vibe-art, who makes whole track out of a Fly sound. I just had to feature natural sound in the mix. The “safety belt beep” and “engine revving” of my personal Dodge commute Saucer is there :) Sorry guys, if you’re driving and subliminally trying to reach out for your safety belt :P You do need it, so just wanted to make sure ;)

Yearly ADAM Pro Audio FEST. 30 sec was a requirement and I love the idea to express your self in half a minute shot. Always great to review your prod growth and pay attention on imaging, distinction of the sound. Great way to sweep dust your studio monitors and make car system to sneeze :D

Musically here... I just play what I feel and like, like many. Translating _it_ into the best sound I could do at the moment, hoping to let out some of grooves and vibes boiling my head constantly. Might be messy, bumpy, puzzling, but this is what it is. By design. Crystal Ripples continues my "Impressionism in Music" series. I love to induce and provoke, rather than impose. All for creative listening experience, so we collab, co-create.... Thank you.

Fender Stratocaster finger picking and (slightly) distorted basslines and twangs. Tones are using Line 6 hardware Pod XT. Post Line6 and IK Multimedia Amplitube.  Korg Synths, including Gadget tool Brussels, which solemnly soloing at 0:50. All synths sounds transitions achieved by playing physical knobs on my Arturia controller. All 37 lines of guitars, perc, synth total are assembled in Ableton Live 9 and mastered with IK Multimedia.

To teleport to 60's even faster, when Robert Moog was inventing Model D, I played MiniMoog, Moog Modular (and other synths by Arturia and Korg). Played my blue Fender Strat to signify the times, when Jimi Hendrix was grinding his teeth over his black one. Pushing flowers to the guns with Electronic and Psychedelic Rock is still needed. Imagined all thru my prism of future Deep Disco and Indie Dance vibe. Drums and all prod done in Ableton Live, mastering with IK Multimedia tools.

Beat and synth played with Native Instruments iMashine2 4-track iPad app by taping on iPad surface. Plus my Yamaha bass and Fender Stratocaster for lead and licks. Recorded directly with Maschine MK3. The guitar effect if reversing guitar samples directly in Ableton, though I like jamn with reverse delay (like one can be found in Korg Gadget on iPad). The rest of prod and mastering is done in Ableton Live 10. Thanks for your support!

Usually i post fresh improv, faster made tune. This one is different. Two years of mixing, mastering, getting dozens of basslines bumping to each other in a slo-mo Pogo dance. Had a blast producing it in Ableton with Arturia synths and IK Multimedia tools. 

Having said that, thats a rule, Fender Strat tipsy guitar noodle improv comes almost as-is, as it happened one good day. You can spend endless time mixing, polishing, growing your skills, but if something just happened - let it be. Power of music is in the improvisation and art of impression. Hope you share that thoughts and enjoy the do. TNX!

Ancient Solfeggio tones to heal minds, fuel the soul. It worked for John Lennon in "Imagine", so have to join the movement. Tune will help to grow your cucumber too! :)
