Oh hell yeah Sam the Man. You just nailed the adage of “less is more” through not just the creative expression here, but also the realization of it, in your feedback it seems from reading the track description. And in that description you planted the mental seed to grow in the mind and conceptualize a grandiose accompaniment to your track full of highly complex musical structures ( and a ten minute lead guitar / Moog keyboard solos ) along with, of course, a 3D visual experience powered by a shooting star ! Okay, I’ll stop now. But seriously, this was very tastefully done in all of it’s glory. Every sound lived and breathed wonderfully within it’s own space in the song. Great instrument track Sam Prock !!!

Beat and synth played with Native Instruments iMashine2 4-track iPad app by taping on iPad surface. Plus my Yamaha bass and Fender Stratocaster for lead and licks. Recorded directly with Maschine MK3. The guitar effect if reversing guitar samples directly in Ableton, though I like jamn with reverse delay (like one can be found in Korg Gadget on iPad). The rest of prod and mastering is done in Ableton Live 10. Thanks for your support!   

The cover art is the portrait of a Big Green turtle who was chilling on a Island of Maui (Canon Rebel T4i, f/8, 1/400sec, ISO-100, 124mm. Lens Canon EF-S 18-135mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS USM).

Imaging hot summer mid-day, having a rest under a tree ... breeze calming you down ...

Musically I wanted to experiment when played this tune on iPhone the other day. Wanted to invert what we usually play as a background and bring upfront. And the other way around pads and harmony to dominate. Just like how you perceive reality when falling a sleep or having Catnap break. Nautilus

In childhood I loved reading Sir Henry Rider Haggard’s books. Adventurous stories with a hint of mystery. “She” is one fav of them, so here is the reading soundtrack (free copy at Project Gutenberg gutenberg.org/ebooks/3155, track cover art is a jammed cover of the book).

Odyssey

The Air. Thin and heavenly fresh .... or heavy supplying you with geoengineering chemtrails. Something we can't do without..... Two and a half minutes of intro? Why not! Stay inspired! Inspiration is what we need as air :)

The first track where I was using my Moog Subsequent 37 CV for real :) Tweaking filter and knobs, enjoying analogue vibe making. Lead synths coming out of the blue is Korg rendition of Odyssey on iPad. Most other sounds designed with Arturia's Prophet, DX-7, MoogMini, ARP2600, Solina, etc. Plus on board Ableton Wavetable synth and Max4Live devices. Mastered in Live 10 with IK Multimedia tools. Cover photo was taken somewhere above Atlantic. Cheers!

When I released this track with Flower Power album November last year, never knew that would post it to the purpose. Now in Spring 2020, last year news were a picnic! We were about Xmas, end-of-year bonus was coming, we were talking about Trump impeachment... good times indeed.

Never posted it though, always thinking maybe today is just enough sht on the news already anyways. Also did not want to post on any specific event. Hoping maybe tomorrow we'll get a relief with something more positive than today. You know that feeling - disturbed, confused, concerned...

When I was a kid always watched that World News TV programs. One from '70s had some special catchy vibe on the opening soundtrack (sorry, I pay attention to any music in any occasion which soundtracks our life, and it stuck in you). Something like that always keeps spinning in my head since. This track, as many, made from scratch on the iPad surface with the Korg Gadget app. Something in between TV news opening jingle and one of my fav songs ever Vicarious by Tool. 

And this photo. I took a shot of this storytelling red brick wall, eaten by salt waters and sun, photo in Venice. The wall on Fondamenta delle Zattere, location of Ospedale degli Incurabili.
