I am once again honored to have guitarist Harry Jacobson join me on this dual guitar instrumental fusion track titled “CLOCK IS TICKING”.
What starts off as a repeating set of three cool sounding suspension chords accompanied by a simple repeating motif, quickly builds up and morphs in multiple layers of guitar-work by both myself and Harry.
I really enjoyed the many additional musical ideas that Harry brought forth, that helped propel this simple futuristic sounding concept to life.

Temptation

With samples and pushing and pulling bass-synth sounds, i made a pad of snow with oriental feel.

I didn't use words, but vocalise a bit to emphasise the rythme... it's repetitif, but i use every repetition different sounds from my synth, so there is still to discover something for the greedy ear. And do as the snowflakes: dance on the beat!

I heard this by Sierra Ferrel and just love it by her. I had no clue it was co-written by Ray Charles. This is a casual version in my friends, Jack Beck, house. We just enjoy getting together and doing sone songs on the fly that we mention, look up and give it a whirl. Jack is on guitar, and a much better picker than I am. He will be glad to tell you! HA! I know the truth when I hear it!  Anyway, we just have a good time playing music and singing. He has a back yard full of chickens, so it seemed fitting to do this song. We wondered about the meaning, if it was about a Mom who blew the coop and the family was a wondering where she went. The pic I took of Jack serenading his chickens, Ha!  Yep, we kinda country. :)
