Friske returns to his newly minted imprint with two heritage soaked future retro steppers. 

“Nailgun” sees Friske reunite with fellow Horsemen alum Gremlinz and Aspect to lay down a lesson in the type of contemporary Rufige that all three have been the vanguards of for close to the last two decades. 

“Musically Speaking” sets up a floating Speed era aesthetic before giving way to the more punishing brutalism of Headz, the contrast executed with perfect understanding of the dichotomy between the two with expert precision.

Here is my edit of 'Dot/Eyes' which comes from one of my favourite band Tortoise's 'It's All Around You' album from 2004. The original was begging to be made into a clubbier edit.

Since “Narimasu” EP released last year by label USI KUVO (Tokyo), Tokyo based producer DJ/Producer WRACK has been seeking to make Japanese-style club music. As for the first release on the label, WRACK combines genres like GQOM and GORGE with this 4-track EP album ”Hotto Kotto”, which is also keeping his Japanese scale style and iconic sound on club music description.

WRACK had released many bangers by albums/V.A with labels in recent years, such as NAAFI, Eco Futurism Corporation, Club Late Music, Oxyorange, Absurd TRAX, CyberSonicLA, Babel Records. He also organized club party CHEMICAL MONSTERS in Tokyo which invited NAAFI's Imaabs, Lao, Zutzut, Fausto Bahia, Mexican Jihad, STAYCORE's Dinamarca, Mechatok, Intruder Alert's B.YHZZ etc.

Rizla Ops joins the NHS orbit with his debut EP release 'Aphid' - An offering of functional, mechanical crawlers that hit disparate BPMs and creep into the territories of many genres of club music that predominantly hail from the shores of the UK. The brief collection highlights a generous dose of maximalism and pairs this with a microcosm of jittering, insectoid syncopation. Scattyone has several previous convictions for producing dancefloor heinousness and he's back on past collaborator Original Key for a six-tracker with serious intent. This whole release is dripping in the heritage of reggae and dub, and the title track exemplified this meeting of worlds perfectly; lush vocals bring you in and let you smell the sunshine, but the drop is pure jump up and it's the blend of venom and antidote which really hits off. 'Dance Wid Me' has a wicked gravelly bassline and more sick sampling, as does 'Pull Up', and we're also big fans of the fractious jungle rhythms on 'Pure Lies'. Big stuff.
