Methxx04 takes an international direction and sees the Metalheadz debuts of  ArpXP & Reza hailing from Italy and Poland respectively.

"Unknown Feeling" by Reza is a dubbed out minimal journey into drum and bass. Melancholy chords combine with snippets of vocal and a sparse break, which are all underpinned by the weightiest of basslines. With two tracks of this quality it's no wonder this release is a double A side.

Collectively the two tracks make for a killer release - yet another gem in the much sought after METHXX catalogue

We are happy to presents you "Last Transmissions From Jevvers," the latest vinyl release from @caldera-caldera. Recorded between 2018-2024 in the artist's Brighton studio, this collection serves as a farewell to both a creative space and community that profoundly shaped Caldera's artistic journey.

The album captures the organic essence of Caldera's studio environment and features a notable collaboration with @queniv, developed remotely during the 2021 lockdown. This release also coincides with the label's evolution from Dans le Desert to Dans Records, reflecting its continued commitment to innovative electronic music.

Since 2012, Caldera has established a distinctive voice in electronic music, blending techno and bass with meticulous sound design. His work appears on respected imprints including Nummer Music (Berlin), Kimochi Sound (Chicago), and Pressure Dome (Bristol), while his Loop LF project features regularly on London's Well Street Records.

Dans Records (fka Dans le Desert) is an independent label run by Tomasz K Zajac (Cafe de la Jungle), dedicated to supporting adventurous electronics.

Pure Space presents Black Smoke (2025 Remaster) by Andy Rantzen - our first-ever reissue, and a nod to a pivotal voice in Australia’s electronic music lineage.

Originally released in 2001 via the Creative Vibes compilation The Blue Hour Vol. 3: Deep Blue, Black Smoke is a deep cut from one of Eora/Sydney’s most quietly influential producers. Known for his work with Pelican Daughters, Itch-E & Scratch-E, and countless solo projects, Rantzen’s fingerprints are all over the foundations of Australian dance culture.

In revisiting the track for reissue, Andy uncovered three never-before-released alternate mixes buried deep in his DAT archive. Each offering a fresh perspective on the original’s tight tek percussion and deep soaring synths.

The newly remastered original lifts with propulsive clarity and analogue weight, while Alternative Mix 1 brings added bass pressure and sharpened percussion. Alternative Mix 2 introduces a classic acid lead, warping the groove into something more angular and elastic. Alternative Mix 3 slows the tempo and rinses the bassline, shifting the track into a darker, stauncher terrain - a twisted inversion of the original heat.

Nearly 25 years on, Black Smoke remains vital - a reminder that some frequencies never fade, they just keep mutating.

Following up on the meditative pulse of her debut album on Annulled Music last year, the Paris-based artist digs deeper into ominous atmospheres filled with evocative reverb decays and taut, dynamic drum work — tools she wields to render tracks with specific meaning, coded by the Latin framing that runs through all aspects of her musical output. Contemplating the ancient language as an inescapable part of her European roots, on Nefanda Aerae ruminates on external trials and inner impulses, and conjures a jaw-clenching soundtrack to match.

Finding her own language within the dialogue between techno, D&B and dark ambient, Aerae’s music makes a vivid impression thanks to the ideas and intention that drive her in the studio. James Shinra is a well-respected figure in the European electronic music scene, known for his intricate blend of electro, braindance, breakbeat and acid. Gaining recognition with his 2015 Ball & Chain EP on Null+Void and a follow-up remix and solo release on Bicep’s Feel My Bicep label, he went on to release acclaimed EPs and his debut album Vital Heat across key imprints like Analogical Force, Craigie Knowes and 20/20 Vision. Recent years have seen a return to club-ready sounds, with standout releases on We’re Going Deep and the launch of his own imprint Shinra Electro Company, earning DJ support from Bicep at Coachella. His second album Meteorites dropped in 2025, and he continues to perform dynamic DJ and live sets across Europe, with past highlights including Houghton Festival and Warehouse Project.

[SCSS015] QUIEM - SENTIMENT SERIES VOL.15

Mostra and Deep Breakfast Series are collaborating for a second year to bring you home some of the sounds that echoed through the festival’s unique spaces. Mostra is an intimate, independent festival dedicated to forward-thinking and experimental electronic music, taking place over four days in Barcelona.

Among the featured performances was nigul, the ambient drone project of Jaume Muntsant (also known as Droneghost). Active since 2004, nigul explores themes of darkness and fear through dense sonic textures, field recordings, and evolving soundscapes. His hybrid set unfolded on the second day of performances at Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació.
