Sam Wicks is a Bristol, London and Bali based DJ who's career has spanned the last 14 years across the globe.
A resident for Groove On, the longest running midweek house night in the country and a constant guest and long time supporter of Just Jack House Music, Sam has had the chance to DJ alongside the likes of MANDY, Damian Lazarus, Ralph Lawson, Wolf and Lamb, Jamie Jones and Derrick Carter as well as sharing a residency with Eats Everything at Groove On.
In 2009 Sam founded Bristol party institution 'Herd' to create a platform for spontaneous events in creative locations. The roaming brand provided a platform for innovative forward-thinking dance music and saw the birth of established industry artists such as Julio Bashmore, Waifs & Strays and Shanti Celeste.

Sam also held a residency for infamous London club night Bump as well as working as a resident ski season DJ at The Underground and Malaysia in Val Thorens (France).  He is a familiar face at festivals such as Glastonbury, Shambala and Secret Garden Party and thrives in this setting. It is this wealth of international experience, as well as playing at world famous club nights like Just Jack, Back 2 Basics and Buddha Bar in Jakarta, that have shaped his ever expanding music outset.

In addition to all this, Sam still finds the time to DJ live across both the UK, Europe and now Bali.  His sound is always influenced by the setting he is in, whether warming up at sunset, spinning sunny pool vibes or late night grooves on the dance floor. Sam is also a classically trained jazz pianist and this can be heard within his live performances.
